The German national team has released new home and away jerseys that they will wear in Euro 2024 in their own country this summer.

This new adidas home shirt that Germany will wear in UEFA Euro 2024 is designed to represent German football tradition in a modern way, with a typical white colour along with the black, red and gold of the national flag running over the shoulders in the shape of an eagle's wing.

The away kit with its pink and purple tones marks a new approach designed to reflect the new generation of German football fans and the diversity of the country.

Bayer Leverkusen and Germany playmaker Florian Wirtz said: "The home jersey is classic with its black, red and gold shoulders and white look - it's a typical Germany jersey for me. I find the away jersey very cool! It's something different and really extraordinary. We are looking forward to a European championship at home and want to perform well in both jerseys."

The new jerseys will make their first appearances later in March. The home jersey will be worn in Germany's friendly against France in Lyon on 23 March, while the away jersey will make its debut against the Netherlands in a friendly in Frankfurt on 26 March.

These will be among the last kits produced for the national team by adidas, who had supplied Germany's squads for over 70 years, being the manufacturer for all four World Cup titles, all three Euros successes, as well as two world and eight European crowns for the women's team. The DFB confirmed prior to the France game that Nike will become the national team's supplier as of 2027.

You can buy both jerseys at the DFB's online fanshop.
