SILVA!

SILVA TRIES HIS LUCK

Space opens up for Andre Silva on the edge of the box and he shoots, but it's straight enough at Koubek.

CHANDLER!

He's already scored two headers since the winter break and it's almost a third for Timothy Chandler as he gets up at the far post, but a strong hand from Koubek denies the USA international a second goal in as many games.

EARLY CHANGE

Frankfurt are forced to make an early substitution with captain David Abraham handing over the armband to replacement Makoto Hasebe. It's a like-for-like switch, and can only mean the Argentine is carrying an injury of some sorts.

MAX HAS A CRACK

Augsburg have a free-kick on the right and a good 30 yards out. Philipp Max is over it, looking like he's about to cross, but he tries to beat Trapp at his near post, in the end firing wide.

BETTER FROM AUGSBURG

The visitors are on the attack again with a long diagonal ball finding Ruben Vargas making his way into the box on the left. He only has Trapp to beat, but the Germany goalkeeper makes himself big and keeps this game level.

EASING INTO IT

It's been a gentle start to proceedings in Frankfurt, with the game being played mostly in midfield. Augsburg win the first corner of the game, but it's delivered straight into the hands of Kevin Trapp in goal.

ALMOST READY

Kick-off is just moments away at the Commerzbank Arena. The hosts are on a high after two big results here against Leipzig in the past two weeks. Augsburg also claimed a crucial victory last week at home to Bremen to arrest their January slump.
