ADDED TIME!

We're into four minutes of added time here with Freiburg still pressing for an equaliser...
88'

BIG CHANCES

Sancho has the first, racing into the box and ready to shoot before the ball is taking from him by the Freiburg defence. Hakimi collects and shoots. It deflects off Schlotterbeck before Schwolow gets a hand to it to tip it onto the crossbar.
83'

SANCHO EFFORTS BLOCKED

The Englishman has a free-kick from the edge of the Freiburg box blocked behind for a corner. It's played shot and Reyna has it in the box, but the ball runs loose and falls to Sancho who has a go at goal only to have his shot blocked again.
75'

WHAT A CHANCE FOR PETERSEN!

Höler is played in down the right and crosses to the back post. Petersen is all alone and heads at goal. It goes beyond Bürki's reach but Piszczek saves the day by clearing the ball of the line. Some incredible defending after he'd poorly marked Petersen.
74'

WIDE OPEN HERE

This game has truly opened up here in Dortmund and it's going to make for a fun final 15 minutes in Dortmund. Don't go anywhere because this isn't over yet.
74'

HIGH AND WIDE FROM HAALAND

The substitute has his first effort on goal as he powers towards the Freiburg box before lashing a shot wide of the mark from 25 yards.
71'

GREAT EFFORT FROM GRIFO

The Italian sends a superb free-kick towards the Dortmund goal and it forces a big save from Bürki to deny him a stunning equaliser here.
69'

SCHMID CURLS ONE WIDE

The right midfielder collects a lose ball on the right corner of the Dortmund box and cuts inside onto his left foot before shooting at goal, but it drifts just inches wide of the posts.
67'

SOMETHING LEFT IN THIS GAME...

It's been a slow second half so far with both sides struggling to really get going, which means there is still something here for Freiburg to work for. As long as the score remains 1-0, they won't give up on getting something from it.
61'

BRANDT FIRES WIDE

Classy play from Brandt who cuts past Schmid to open space for a shot on the edge of the box. He curls an effort at goal, but it curls too far and goes past the far post.
59'

HAALAND COMING ON

The striker is making himself ready on the sidelines and will be introduced shortly. Dortmund could do with his presence in attack to help breakthrough the Freiburg defence.
56'

HAPPY ON THE BALL

60 per cent of possession so far here for Dortmund and they're more than happy to keep the ball. With no out-and-out striker on the pitch it's harder for them to go straight forward into attack. Rather going wide and working the ball with one-twos and movement off the ball. The home side in control.
52'

SANCHO WARMING UP

Superb from Brandt who backheel-volleys the ball out of the air towards Sancho. He brings it down and runs to the edge of the Freiburg box before curling a shot at goal, but it drifts wide of the mark.
51'

PRESSING BEGINS

The away side are definitely pushing further up the pitch early on in this second half. Trying to force mistakes and earn themselves more chances on goal. So far, Dortmund handling it well.
46'

SECOND HALF BEGINS

A change at the break for either side as you can see. Akanji is on for Hummels in the Dortmund defence and 19-year-old Keitel makes his Bundesliga debut, coming into the Freiburg midfield for Haberer.

ALL TO PLAY FOR

Dortmund may be in the lead, but Freiburg haven't given up on this game at all. A quality first half display from the home side which was capped off by Sancho's simple finish for his 14th goal of the season. Since then, Freiburg were forced to come out and play and they've had good chances, but just haven't been able to find the back of the net.

44'

ALMOST AT THE BREAK...

The intensity of this game hasn't slowed down a bit, but both sides are setting up well defensively and not allowing any real clear-cut chances. It looks like we'll go into the break with the same scoreline.
38'

CAUSING PROBLEMS

The opening goal of the game has definitely forced Freiburg to come forward here. They're pressing higher and not sitting as deep as at the beginning of the match. A few unforced errors from Dortmund haven't quite been capitalised on by Freiburg, but it's improving for them.
35'

HAZARD AND WITSEL HAVE A GO

A rapid counter-attack from BVB sees Brandt find Hazard on the left. He cuts inside past Gulde and across the edge of the box before having his shot blocked. It falls to Witsel and he curls a shot at goal first-time but sends it over the top of Schwolow's goal again.
33'

HEINTZ STINGS THE HANDS OF BÜRKI

The left-sided centre-back drifts into the Dortmund half and plays a one-two with Grifo, taking the ball into the box and shooting at the near post. Bürki is well-positioned and makes a tidy save.
31'

BRANDT GOES CLOSE

Another opening for Dortmund as Can quickly plays Brandt the ball in space on the edge of the Freiburg box. He searches for the far top corner but his shot is always rising over the crossbar.
28'

NEW CLUB RECORD FOR BVB

Dortmund have scored their 66th goal of the Bundesliga season through 24 matches, a new best for the club in the Bundesliga.
25'

FIRST CHANCE FOR FREIBURG

A nice opening from Freiburg as Petersen lays the ball off to Sallai and he sends Grifo in on goal. He has Hummels following him and goes for the near post from the right corner of the box, but sends his shot over the bar. A positive sign for the away side.
23'

MONSOON WEATHER

The wind and rains has picked up massively here in Dortmund and it's becoming a real problem for the players. The camera can't even stay still to follow the game, such is the power of the gusts whirling around the Signal Iduna Park.
21'

FREIBURG COMING OUT OF THEIR SHELL

The away side being forced to look to keep the ball here. Passing around their defence with Dortmund pressing them well. They've had no attempts on goal so far but have pace and power down both wings which can cause problems. So far, Dortmund controlling them well.
21'

PEAK FORM

Sancho has now also scored 11 goals in his last 13 Bundesliga games. Certainly not just a provider.
20'

SO YOUNG, BUT SO GOOD

Sancho has now scored 27 Bundesliga goals in his short career thus far and therefore becomes the youngest player in Bundesliga history to have reached 27 goals. Klaus Fischer was already 20 when he reached that mark. Sancho just continues to break those records.
15'

SANCHO DOES HIS THING!

Dortmund's top scorer this season extends his lead with his 14th goal of the season. Hazard is the creator, dribbling through Lienhart into the box from the left. He then looks up and sees Sancho all alone in front of goal and finds him with a simple pass for an equally simple finish.
15'

Jadon Sancho

GOAL!

1:0
Jadon Sancho

EARLY VARIATIONS

Dortmund have tried a couple of different things in an attempt to breakthrough the Freiburg defensive set-up. Sancho and Brandt have come deep to collect possession, Hummels has looked for long balls over the top and one-twos have been happening down the wings to try and create space. No shots on target so far.
8'

SITTING DEEP

The away side have defending as their first priority today. A flat back five when without the ball with four across the midfield to try and make life difficult for Dortmund's attack.
5'

BRANDT FLOATING

The German looks to be given more of a free-roaming role today so far. He's starting out on the right wing, but has often drifted into a No.10 position already. Sancho is on the left, Hazard in the middle. But they won't be staying that way all game.

WE'RE UNDERWAY!

And the ball is rolling in Dortmund for this Saturday afternoon meeting between Dortmund and Freiburg. Let battle commence!
Kick-off!

WET CONDITIONS

The rain is coming down here in Dortmund as you'd expect coming towards the end of winter in Germany. Could make for some slick football across a wet pitch at the Signal Iduna Park.

BRANDT IN ATTACK?

There was a lot of speculation about how Favre would change the midfield formation to bring Brandt back into the side, and now with Haaland on the bench, the question goes unanswered. Brandt actually played through the middle in attack twice in the first half of the season (in the home wins against Mönchengladbach and Wolfsburg). Same again today?

THE POWER OF THE WALL

There's no place like home for Dortmund. The black-and-yellows have scored three or more goals in nine of their 11 home games so far this season. In those 11 games they've scored 40 times in total. Only Bayern, Leipzig and Gladbach have scored more at home this season.

CHANGE OF TACT FOR STREICH

The Freiburg boss has shuffled his set-up and ditched the four-man defence which saw his side lose 2-0 at home to Fortuna Düsseldorf last week in place of a three-man defence away at Dortmund today. Manuel Gulde, Philipp Lienhart and Dominique Heintz make up that backline today.

ILLNESS STOPPING HAALAND

Dortmund have confirmed via Twitter that Haaland will start on the bench today due to gastritis - a tummy bug - that limited his training availability this week.

NO REUS, HAALAND WAITING... SANCHO TIME

The floor looks to be Jadon Sancho's for the taking at the Signal Iduna Park today. The English teenager (yes, he's still only 19) has laid on a league joint-best 14 assists this season – a record he shares with Thomas Müller – as well as scoring a team-high 13 goals. Even with reinforcements waiting in the wings, BVB will be relying on his talents today.

HAALAND ON THE BENCH!

Borussia Dortmund's star of 2020 so far, the man who has scored 40 goals in 30 competitive games this season with his nine Bundesliga goals coming in at a rate of one every 44 minutes, is only on the bench for BVB today. Lucien Favre has rotated his attack with Julian Brandt brought in to make an attacking trio alongside Jadon Sancho and Thorgan Hazard.
