BIG CHANCE!

A Sosa corner curls into the middle and Thommy meets it front of goal, but his header in front of Piszczek goes wide across goal. Could that be Stuttgart's final chance...
86'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Last-chance saloon now for Stuttgart to get back into this game again late on, with Klement and Churlinov coming on.
84'

LATE CHANGE

Piszczek is on for Morey for the final minutes here.
82'

ANTON BOOKED

The Stuttgart defender brings down Haaland and earns a yellow card.
80'

INCREDIBLE! WHAT A MOMENT FOR KNAUFF!

The 19-year-old fires home his first ever Bundesliga goal to complete an incredible week. After making his Champions League starting debut against Manchester City he now fires Dortmund ahead again. It's superb dribbling from the teenager, who works the ball past two defenders on the edge of the Stuttgart area before curling a shot beyond Kobel into the far bottom corner.
80'
Ansgar Knauff
80'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Brandt and Hazard come on now for Dortmund, with Reyna and Bellingham off.
78'

DIDAVI LEVELS IT UP AGAIN!

Stuttgart with an outstanding counter-attack and Didavi provides the finish to bring us level. Morey's pass towards his own goal is intercepted by Kalajdzic and Stuttgart break with Didavi slotted in behind by a fantastic pass from Coulibaly, and he provides a tidy finish past Hitz.

Daniel Didavi
76'

BELLINGHAM DOWN

The Englishman may have a muscular injury here, and it looks like he won't be able to continue. He's taking treatment right now with Hazard getting ready.
camera-photo

FINELY POISED

As we enter the final 15 minutes or so in Stuttgart, Reus' goal has Dortmund in front...
72'

CLOSE FROM DIDAVI!

Sosa's free-kick is flicked onto the back post of the Dortmund area, and Didavi goes for an acrobatic effort to put the ball on target. Bellingham is in the right place to deflect that shot over his own crossbar.
68'

CHANGES MADE

Reus comes off for Knauff with just over 20 minutes to play for BVB, while Thommy is on for Förster with the home side looking for fresh ideas in attack.
67'

HUGE CHANCE FOR COULIBALY!

We really should be level again here as Coulibaly misses a sitter in front of goal. It's Didavi's fantastic low cross which finds the Frenchman at the back post all alone, but he misses the ball completely on his right foot and it bounces out of play. He has his head in his hands after that one...
66'

HAALAND FIRES OVER!

A huge chance for Haaland to get on the scoresheet as Dortmund break in numbers. It's Haaland who looks for Reus in behind, but the captain's first touch is poor and the ball bounces away. It's recycled and Reyna finds Haaland in front of goal, but he fires over from in front of goal.

DOUBLE CHANGE

Stenzel and Didavi are on for the home side, with Mavropanos and Klimowicz coming off. A bit more experience in the Stuttgart attack.
60'

STUTTGART RESPONDING

It's been a slow and poor start to this second half for Stuttgart, but the home side are beginning to respond. It's been difficult so far with Dortmund now, especially, brimming with confidence all over the pitch.
camera-photo

THE FINISHING TOUCH

Bellingham's first Bundesliga goal - in his 24th appearance - had Dortmund level before Reus put his side ahead.
54'

REUS ENDS HIS DROUGHT

After 14 and a half games - 1131 minutes - Reus has finally scored in the Bundesliga again.
52'

REUS TURNS THE GAME AROUND!

Two goals in five minutes for Dortmund and the away side are in front. It's lovely footwork from Reyna on the right before he finds Morey on the edge of the Stuttgart area. The Spaniard pushes the ball to his left and a dummy from Haaland lets the ball run to Reus, who curls it back across goal into the far bottom corner. What a start to the second half for Dortmund!

KEMPF BOOKED

A late challenge on Reyna will see Kempf suspended for Stuttgart's next game with his fifth yellow card.
47'

FIRST IN THE BUNDESLIGA FOR BELLINGHAM!

What a moment for the Englishman who scores his first in the Bundesliga. It's a teenage combination, the same which got Reyna his first goal in the league earlier this season. Dahoud's pass into the area is met by Reyna, who lays it off for Bellingham to strike at goal. It's too hot for Kobel to handle and Dortmund are level.
47'
Jude Bellingham

BACK UNDERWAY!

A change at the break for Dortmund as Can replaces Hummels, who limped off with an injury at half-time.

CLOSE AGAIN...

Haaland exchanges passes with Delaney into the Stuttgart area, but Anton makes a crucial sliding tackle to deny Haaland from getting onto the final pass to put him in on goal.

JUST THE FINAL BALL...

Dortmund have numbers in the Stuttgart area but Haaland can't find Reyna in space on the right. The ball comes to Bellingham just inside the area but he has his shot blocked by the arm of another Dortmund man. That's BVB's first half in a nutshell.
36'

ALL DORTMUND

The away side are well on top here, but just can't seem to find a way through the Stuttgart defence to get a clear-cut chance on goal. Reyna and Reus are looking the most likely to make it happen but so far, Stuttgart have kept Haaland and co. at bay.
34'

BIG CHANCE FOR REUS!

A lovely ball over the top from Hummels meets Reus' run in behind, cutting in from the left wing. He controls it and beats a man before going to shoot, but he doesn't get anywhere near the connection he'd be hoping for on his shot and it's a simple one for Kobel to hold onto.
31'

HUMMELS BOOKED

Dortmund's centre-back is shown a yellow after he brings down Kalajdzic in midfield.
31'

ALMOST ANOTHER!

Stuttgart break with a four-on-two but Klimowicz's pass is a little wide, running over to Sosa on the left. His cross is a peach, though, and meets Coulibaly at the near post. His glancing header bounces across goal and just wide in the end.

SOSA BOOKED

Stuttgart's left wing-back takes the first yellow card of the game for bringing down Reyna just outside the area.
20'

AGAINST THE RUN OF PLAY

Stuttgart's opener has come from a minority of possession and attacking impotus so far here. It's been Dortmund on the front foot for the most part, but again Stuttgart show that the Sosa-Kalajdzic combination is almost impossible to stop.
17'

SOSA ASSIST, KALAJDZIC GOAL!

It's what we've come to expect from Stuttgart as the hosts work the ball wide to Sosa on the left. He loops a high ball into the area and Kalajdzic beats both Guerreiro and Delaney to head it back across goal, sending the ball looping over Hitz and into the back of the net. What a header that was from the tallest player in the Bundesliga!
14'

DAHOUD HAS A GO!

Dortmund break well through the middle and Reus gives Dahoud the ball 25 yards out. He skips past another challenge into space before pulling the trigger with a shot which forces Kobel to tip the ball over the top.
13'

BELLINGHAM INVOLVED

The 17-year-old is playing in a more advanced midfield role, with Delaney and Dahoud sitting deeper behind him. He's been getting involved in the link-up play which has seen BVB have most of the attacking looks here.
camera-photo

GETTING ACQUAINTED

Coulibaly and Hummels getting to know each other again here in the early stages. Coulibaly is out on the right flank for the home side.
6'

REUS SHOT BLOCKED

The ball breaks for Reus to run at the Stuttgart defence from 30 yards out, and he has a bit of time and space to pick a spot. As he winds it up, Anton comes forward and blocks his effort. The first real threat towards either goal we've seen in what has been an open game to start.
2'

ON TOP EARLY ON

Dortmund have had almost complete control of possession in the opening stages, with a corner coming to nothing for the visitors. But Reus and Reyna are looking to support Haaland in attack who is already getting to know the Stuttgart defence.

HERE WE GO!

The ball is rolling in Stuttgart for our late game in the Bundesliga today...
Kick-off!

KICK-OFF COMING UP!

We're just a few minutes away from getting things underway in Stuttgart for this key game for both sides looking to get themselves into European places before it's too late.

GOAL MACHINES COLLIDE

Bundesliga fans will know the goal-scoring quality of Erling Haaland, but what of Sasa Kalajdzic on the other side? The Austrian international has scored eight of his last 13 Bundesliga goals at home for the promoted side and will be looking to get on the scoresheet again this evening.

STORY OF THE DAY SO FAR

With Frankfurt beating Wolfsburg, Dortmund now sit 10 points off the Champions League places ahead of kick-off this evening. Defeat tonight may put qualification for next season's competition beyond them with just six games to play. A win for Stuttgart would take the home side up to seventh, and just one point off BVB with Union and Gladbach each earning a draw ahead of them.

CAN REUS END HIS GOAL DROUGHT?

The BVB captain hasn’t scored in the Bundesliga in his last 14 league outings, across a total of 1,079 minutes on the field. However, Stuttgart are among his favourite opponents: Reus has nine goals and seven assists in 17 top-flight games against them.

FORM – STUTTGART

VfB will be pleased with their season so far, and have picked up some good results recently. Matarazzo’s side beat Werder Bremen 1-0 last week, and although they suffered a 4-0 defeat in Munich before the international break, prior to that they beat Hoffenheim, Schalke and Cologne, while also picking up a very respectable 1-1 draw away to high-flying Frankfurt. The 2008 Bundesliga champions are also unbeaten on their own patch in their last six league games (four wins, two draws), winning the last three on the trot.

HAALAND THE HAPPY TRAVELLER

Haaland, with 21 Bundesliga goals from 22 appearances this season, has hit braces in each of his last three away games (against Schalke, Bayern and Cologne). Indeed, 14 of his league goals have come on the road this term. Can he continue that trend today?

FORM - DORTMUND

Terzic’s side had a run of four straight wins in all competitions at the end of February and beginning of March. Since then, however, they have struggled for consistency, winning just one of their subsequent six games (2-0 against Hertha Berlin on Matchday 25). They’ve drawn two and lost three in that period, although their impressive performance in the last-gasp loss to Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday at least gives some cause for optimism.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

That big win for Stuttgart on 12 December 2020 might seem like an exception to the rule, but VfB actually have the upper hand in this fixture historically. They have won 40 of the 101 Bundesliga meetings to date (37 BVB wins, 24 draws), although it must be said that Dortmund have been the better side in recent years: the Black-and-Yellows have won seven and drawn one of the last 10.

WATCH: DORTMUND 1-5 STUTTGART

VfB ran riot the last time these teams met on Matchday 11, scoring four second-half goals to inflict Dortmund's heaviest defeat of the season. The result spelled Lucien Favre's last game in charge as head coach, with Edin Terzic taking over in an interim capacity ever since.

STUTTGART SAFE?

Having won promotion to the Bundesliga last season, Stuttgart's stated objective this term was simply to avoid the drop. Pellegrino Matarazzo's charges are currently in ninth place with 39 points on the board, a tally no top-flight team has ever been relegated with.
