Pick your Matchday 34 Fantasy squad here!

By this point of the season, almost every active team has Harry Kane and Alejandro Grimaldo in it. Indeed, not starring them every week is almost a guarantee to lose rank.

So, instead of pointing out the well-known points machines, bundesliga.com is shining the spotlight on those hidden gems that could help you climb up the table.

Matchday 34 is unique every season in that all games kick-off simultaneously on Saturday - so wait for the confirmed line-ups before making any transfers.

Timo Hübers (Cologne), 5M

Picking a defender in a team that’s threatened with relegation? Don’t scroll past; there’s method to the madness. Hübers is the Billy Goats’ highest-scoring defender this season and has mainly picked up points for challenges won. It’ll be a physical battle against a tough Heidenheim side on Saturday, but Cologne – riding the crest of a wave after last week’s dramatic late win over Union Berlin – need to go on the front foot if they’re to avoid the drop. Furthermore, the centre-back is cheap as chips and has zero percent ownership, giving you plenty of potential upside for not a great deal of outlay.

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund), 12.2M

The Dortmund legend is available at a discounted price this weekend, going into what will be his last-ever game at Signal Iduna Park prior to departing this summer. He’ll want to go out with a bang, while BVB also need to keep their rhythm ahead of the UEFA Champions League final. To whet your appetite that bit more, Dortmund are facing bottom club Darmstadt, who lost 6-0 against Hoffenheim last weekend. Trust us… you’ll want him in your team – with the star.

Angelo Stiller (VfB Stuttgart), 7.4M

Did you know Stiller is in the top 15 highest-scoring Fantasy midfielders this season? He’s by far the cheapest of the lot, too. With only three percent ownership and high-flying Stuttgart at home to a hot-and-cold Gladbach outfit, here’s your chance for a great differential if you want to leapfrog your friends in your league standings on the final day.

Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen), 12.5M

Predicting Leverkusen’s line-up has been a futile exercise in recent weeks, with Xabi Alonso rotating heavily as his side juggle three competitions. However, Schick looks as safe a bet as any, particularly with Victor Boniface still working his way back to full fitness. Die Werkself will be going all out to become the first team ever to complete a full Bundesliga season undefeated. They’re at home, will be presented with the Meisterschale at full time and opponents Augsburg haven’t been great lately, so Leverkusen will get chances – and Schick will want to put them away if he is to persuade Alonso to start him in the upcoming DFB Cup and Europa League finals. Just one percent ownership makes him another great differential option.

Jonathan Burkardt (Mainz), 5.8M

Mainz have their fate in their own hands this weekend, knowing that a win in Wolfsburg would see them safe and prevent them calculating any other permutations in the relegation tussle. To that end, Burkardt could be a great choice: the forward has averaged almost 11 points per game across his last five outings, recording double digits in three of those. He's only owned by two percent of Fantasy managers, is available at a bargain price and Mainz are in fine form - only the current top four teams have won more points since Matchday 29.
