It was the visitors who took the lead through Niederlechner but Darmstadt fought back to secure the points. There's the equaliser, right on the stroke of half-time. Förster's initial left-footed curler from a free-kick hits the wall, but the ball bounces back to him and he volleys it with his right. It takes deflection before nestling in the back of the net.

Hertha with a quick counter-attack through Scherhant, who lays it off to his strike partner Niederlechner. He suddenly finds himself free in front of Schuhenbut the home 'keeper makes himself big and manages to save with the foot of his outstretched left leg. Superb save.

Been a long time
