Plenty of time to land a lucky punch here.

Makridis tests Schuhen!
Suddenly Münster have the upper hand! In the left half-space, Makridis drops his shoulder, creates a few yards of space and unleashes another cracker, with Schuhen just managing to tip the shot over the crossbar. Brilliant stuff from both players!
84'
Kyerewaa almost caps dazzling solo effort!
Suddenly, a big chance presents itself for the visitors. Kyerewaa receives the ball near the halfway line, embarks on a solo run and unleashes a real thunderbolt from about 18 metres - well over the crossbar. The visitors' best chance since the early stages.
83'
One-way traffic
The home side are dominating at the Böllenfalltor. Lopez delivers a corner, and while it doesn't create any immediate danger for the Münster goal, the second ball once again falls to the home side.
82'
Missed opportunity
Marseiler, who has replaced Förster as Darmstadt's most active player, wins another free-kick. Lopez delivers the ball from the right edge of the penalty area, but Kleefisch fails to get any power into a header that nonetheless sails over the bar.
79'
Münster still defensively alert
Darmstadt have plenty of space as they win the ball against the advanced Münster players and counter-attack. However, in the end, the newly promoted side's rear-guard manages to clear once again. It remains a solid performance from the underdogs. Will it be enough for them to earn a point in the end?
77'
Fresh legs for the visitors
Hildmann makes a double change, bringing on Németh and Amenyido, possibly with another change to come.

Münster's goalkeeper gets treatment
Preußen's goalkeeper Schenk is having some trouble with his right knee, but it seems he might be able to continue for now.

Darmstadt want more now
Kohfehldt wants the home victory and makes attack-minded changes, bringing on Papela and Vilhelmsson.

Powerful header from Rieder!
The first big chance since the opening stages! Lopez delivers a free-kick to the penalty spot, where Rieder comes flying in and heads the ball just narrowly wide of the left top corner!
71'
Marseiler looking sharp
Because Marseiler was paying close attention, Kirkeskov has to resort to a tactical foul. Otherwise, the substitute would have broken through on the right flank.
69'
Darmstadt trying everything
The home side continue to work the ball and build their play. What they're doing better now: increasing the variation and attempting to attack both through the wings and through the centre.
67'
Possession clearly in Darmstadt's favour
65'
Lidberg pops up
Lidberg powers his way down the right flank to the byline, but his cross is too deep. Münster manage to clear their lines.
64'
Hildmann makes double switch
Now the away team also make their first changes: Kyerewaa and Bazolli are brought on to liven up Münster's play.

Two more cards
Double yellow. Koulis fouls Nürnberger, and the advantage is played, but then Darmstadt lose the ball and Corredor illegally prevents the counter-attack.
59'
Marseiler challenges Schenk
Corredor and Förster drive forward, and in the end, Marseiler takes a shot from a tight angle. Schenk needs two bites but ultimately secures the ball.
57'
Münster continue to focus on defence
Münster are struggling to move the ball past the halfway line in a structured manner. However, it must be said that earning a point against the Lilies, who are in top form, would be a success for the newly promoted side.
54'
Corredor fires
The first notable attempt in the second half! Corredor finds space at the right corner of the penalty area and takes a shot. Schenk is alert to the danger.
51'
Darmstadt upping the pressure
So far, the picture in the second half resembles that of the first 45 minutes. However, Darmstadt now seem to be pushing the visitors a bit deeper into their own half.
48'
Darmstadt look to bring Lidberg into the game
Darmstadt want to move quickly. But Lidberg, who has been very inconspicuous so far, misses the ball. However, the goalscorer has often proven that he can score out of nowhere.
46'
Play resumes
The match resumes, with one substitution made at half-time. Marseiler, who is a bit more creative and mobile than Hornby, is now on the pitch. Darmstadt's coach Kohfeldt seems to be aiming for more versatility in order to break through Münster's defence.

Half-time: Darmstadt 0-0 Preußen Münster
The first half ends with a fourth card. After Mees' foul, the next set-piece for the home side yields nothing. Darmstadt are making an effort and have more possession, but they lack clear ideas against Münster. The visitors are defending well but providing little going forward and it remains goalless at the break.

Down the right it is
That said, Darmstadt try an attack down the right flank and win a corner as a result. The corner, taken short, ultimately ends up in the arms of Preußen's goalkeeper Schenk.
44'
Preußen shut down the left flank
Münster have recognised that Darmstadt like to attack down the left. Now there's no way through for Nürnberger and Corredor.

Another card
Darmstadt's free-kick yields nothing, even though the second ball fell for the home side. Shortly afterwards, the most noticeable Darmstadt player gets caught out and commits a tactical foul, resulting in in a yellow card.
36'
Chances hard to come by
The match has lost some of its momentum from the early stages. Darmstadt are lacking the spark of inspiration, while Münster are content to lie in wait for counter-attacks.
34'
Now a yellow for Münster
The free-kick after Corredor's foul yields nothing for Münster. Instead, they quickly lose possession again, and Preißinger illegally stops a counter-attack, earning the first booking for the visitors.
32'
Creativity, precision lacking
The Lilies keep trying down the left, with Nürnberger the initiator. But this time there's a misplaced pass and Münster switch play. Corredor intervenes but is penalised for a foul.
29'
Förster on the front foot
Förster attempts a dazzling solo run, but iss stopped by the third Münster player he encounters in the penalty area. But the creative midfielder does manage to win a corner.
28'
Münster solid - but not dangerous
Münster continue to make it difficult for Darmstadt, but it has been a while since the promoted side's last offensive action.
25'
Riedel sees yellow
Darmstadt's centre-back is late to the challenge and earns the first booking of the match.
24'
Hornby has a crack!
Good chance for the home side. From the right half-space, Hornby tries a long-range effort to by-pass Münster's tightly packed defence. His volley narrowly misses the near post.
23'
Förster pulling the strings
Inspired idea from Förster, who sends Hornby into the penalty area with a chipped pass, but once again Münster defend attentively.

Darmstadt increase the pressure
Münster are now playing a bit deeper, but aren't allowing themselves to be pushed too far back. Darmstadt, trying to get their combinations going, repeatedly play long balls towards target man Hornby.

Play slowing
A spate of fouls has affected the flow of the match; it's a bit scrappy at the moment.
13'
Lively start!
Both teams are displaying a patient approach to the game. However, both Darmstadt and Münster are looking to get forward and have already created some opportunities. An entertaining match so far.
10'
Hornby sought and found
Crosses have been an effective method so far. This time Hornby gets his head to the ball, but his effort flies well wide of the left-hand post.
8'
Mees!
The first good chance for the visitors! Mees heads a cross from the right powerfully towards the goal, but Schuhen saves with a strong diving effort.
6'
Still no breakthrough for Münster
Münster are increasingly trying long balls into the attacking third, but Darmstadt are well-positioned and can easily defend against these attempts.
4'
Förster!
The first chance falls to the hosts! Initially, Hornby and Lidberg can't break through in a goalmouth scramble, but the ball finds its way to Förster, who shoots from about 16 metres out. The ball whizzes just past the left post.
2'
Münster pressing high
The away team seems to have decided on a bold approach: Preußen are pressing high up the pitch looking to disrupt Darmstadt's build-up play early on.
1'
Kick-off
The Bundesliga 2 Matchday 14 headliner is underway. Will Darmstadt's run continue or can Preußen spring the upset?
Kick-off!
One change for Münster
SCP coach Hildmann makes one change. Grodowski starts at centre-forward, replacing Nemeth, who started in the 0-1 defeat against Köln.
Kohfeldt sticks with winning team
Darmstadt are on a roll (unbeaten in seven competitive matches) and successful manager Kohfeldt has no reason to make changes. The same starting eleven that won away to Hannover will kick off in the second tier's big Saturday night clash.
Münster starting XI
Schenk - ter Horst, Koulis, Frenkert, Kirkeskov - Jorrit Hendrix, Preißinger - Bouchama, Mees, Makridis - Grodowski
Darmstadt starting XI
Schuhen - Lopez, Riedel, Vukotić, Nürnberger - Klefisch, A. Müller - Förster, Corredor - Lidberg, Hornby
High times
In recent weeks, one highlight has followed another for Leon Tasov. First, the 20-year-old celebrated his squad debut in the home match against Fortuna Düsseldorf, then he was called up to the North Macedonia U21s. And now? Perhaps the biggest highlight. During the week, Tasov signed a long-term professional contract at Hammer Straße. It is the reward for the exceptional development that the right-footed player has shown in the last year and a half in Preußen's U23 team.
Kohfeldt on facing Münster
"The team is focused, still very eager to learn and has a lot of energy. They remain hungry; the players exude hunger. You can notice that in everyday life. On paper, we are the favourites. But in football, that counts for nothing. We need to be extremely focused and play extremely clear football. A floodlit match at the Bölle is inherently something one should be up for."
Hildmann on facing Darmstadt
"Darmstadt are the team of the moment, they have fantastic players in their ranks. They are particularly strong at home right now. We need to show relentless passion and ruthless tackling to survive there. Under Florian Kohfeldt, they are top of the table, which shows their quality. It's going to be a difficult task."
Familiar face
Morten Behrens transferred from Darmstadt to Münster in the summer of 2024. Last season, he served as the backup goalkeeper for Darmstadt in the Bundesliga. At Münster this season, he has only featured in the cup match against Bayern.
Preußen unbeaten
Münster have not lost any of their four second-tier encounters against Darmstadt (three wins, one draw).
Long time coming
Darmstadt and Münster face each other for the first time since the 2013/14 season, when both teams played in the 3. Liga. The Lilies won both encounters (4-0 at home, 2-0 away). In Bundesliga 2, these are the first matches since the 1990/91 season (1-0 for Preußen at home, 0-0 away).
