RED CARD!
Fürth must play the final minutes with a man down. After losing possession, Müller slides in from behind on Ache and is sent off by referee Prigan.

Kleinhansl cautioned
The recently substituted player can only stop Futkeu by pulling his shirt - now Kleinhansl must be more careful as well!

Drought ended in familiar fashion
That was Hrgota's fourth goal of the season - and his first since November. He has now scored 45 of his 52 goals in Bundesliga 2 with his fine left foot.
68'
What a goal!
Hrgota wins the ball in midfield and drives forward. Receiving a return pass just outside the box, he smashes it into the top left corner. A beautiful goal!

Hungry for goals away from home
Lautern now have ten goals in their last five away matches. Fürth, on the other hand, are vulnerable at home: only Elversberg have conceded more than their 19 home goals.
61'
JUNG!
The Fürth defender has a chance for redemption. Hrgota delivers a free-kick from the left into the centre, where Jung is completely unmarked at the far post. He acrobatically attempts to direct the ball towards goal in mid-air, but only makes minimal contact.

Hanslik booked
On the right side of defence, the Laautern striker is late in challenging Münz and receives a yellow card

Ache strong, Noll stronger
Nearly 3-1 for the Red Devils. Ache is perfectly set up and manages to assert himself robustly. One-on-one with Noll, the substitute goes for the direct shot but is denied by the Fürth goalkeeper's impressive reaction.
54'
Déjà vu
As in the previous week against Ulm, Kaiserslautern now lead 2-1 after falling 1-0 behind early on.
52'
Lautern turn it around!
What a blunder by Gideon Jung! The Fürth player fails to spot Yokota behind him during build-up play, the Japanese player nicks the ball off him and goes one-on-one with Noll. With a powerful finish, the Yokota beats the keeper to make it 2-1!

Ritter has to come off
The goalscorer for the visitors can't continue: Ache comes on!

That looked painful. At a Fürth corner, Klaus collides with two Lautern players. All three need to be treated on the pitch.

Gießelmann blocked
The hosts play a short corner from the left side. Hrgota passes back from the byline to Gießelmann, who doesn't strike the ball cleanly enough and Kaiserslautern can clear.
38'
Breather
The tempo has waned since the equaliser. No risks are being taken right now.
37'
Krahl on his toes
Fürth try to set up Klaus with a long ball, but the Kaiserslautern 'keeper, in his 50th Bundesliga 2 match, is alert and intercepts.
29'
Ritter strikes again!
The captain scored only once in the first half of the season, but this is now his second goal in the second half of the campaign.
28'
Ritter equalises!
Just like the first goal, the equaliser also comes somewhat out of the blue. Ritter advances on the left and plays a one-two with Kaloc on the edge of Fürth's penalty area. Twelve metres from the goal, the attacker player gets a free shot and gives Noll no chance.
26'
POST AGAIN!
Fürth are unlucky once more. After a beautiful passing sequence involving several players, Klaus shoots from range, beating Krahl but striking the left-hand upright.
24'
Wekesser misses the target
Lautern combine with pace and skill through the hosts' lines, Wekesser has made the long run on the far left and is completely free. From the left corner of the penalty area, the wing-back takes a shot, but misses the Fürth goal well wide to the right.
21'
Not Futkeu this time
The last three Fürth home goals had all been scored by Noel Futkeu, but now another Fürth player has found the net at Ronhof for the first time since November.

WOODWORK!
So close to 2-0 for the hosts: Fürth win the ball deep in the opposition half and immediately look for a shot. Massimo has a go from 20 metres out and his powerful effort crashes against the right-hand post!

Klaus tries it himself
The provider of the opening goal is set up by Srbeny and immediately pulls the trigger from 18 metres out, right of centre. The shot goes just over the Lautern goal.

Fürth lead!
That's football: The Red Devils start furiously, but the Clover Leaves celebrate the early lead. Klaus brings the ball back from the left byline to the edge of the penalty area, where Müller immediately shoots. It takes a deflection off a defender and trickles past keeper Krahl into the net.
5'
Fürth need to regroup
The visitors have come out of the dressing room like a house on fire, and Fürth haven't been able to offer much resistance yet.
3'
Chaos in Fürth's penalty area
The resulting corner is also extremely dangerous: Elvedi's header from point-blank range is blocked, then Aremu tries on the turn but is also thwarted. In the follow-up, Kaloc shoots well wide.
2'
Aremu tests Noll
A strong start from the Red Devils. Aremu unleashes a shot from 20 metres out, Noll dives and claws the ball out of the right corner.
1'
Yokoto too imprecise
The first attacking opportunity falls to Lautern: Yokota is completely free on the right, but his pass into the centre doesn't find a teammate. The Japanese player could have made more of that.

21st Remembrance Day in German Football
80 years ago, on 27 January 1945, the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp was liberated. German football has been commemorating this event on matchdays around 27 January for more than 20 years, remembering the people persecuted, deported and murdered by the Nazis.
New faces for Lautern
The visitors have two new signings in the squad for the first time: Grant-Leon Ranos was brought in from Borussia Mönchengladbach just two days ago. The 21-year-old Armenian international had 11 brief appearances in the Bundesliga for the Foals and was trained in the youth academies of BVB and Bayern. Faride Alidou arrived yesterday from Eintracht Frankfurt, having played three times in Serie A for Hellas Verona in the first half of the season. He is also familiar with the Bundesliga (four goals in 41 matches for Cologne and Frankfurt) as well as Bundesliga 2 (two goals in 23 games for HSV).
Milestone for goalkeeper Krahl
Julian Krahl is playing his 50th second division match today (all for Lautern), two days after his 25th birthday.
Chance to prove themselves
While Dennis Srbeny, Philipp Müller (both last on matchday 13) and Roberto Massimo (last in round 16) have all had several starts this season, Remo Münz has only been in the starting lineup once so far: on Matchday 6, in the defeat in Braunschweig.
Noll back between the posts
Nahuel Noll was the first-choice goalkeeper for the first 15 matchdays, then missed three due to injury. Today he returns to the Fürth goal, with Lennart Grill, who was joined on loan from Union Berlin this week, sitting on the bench. Grill's loan to Braunschweig (where he made nine appearances in the first half of the season) was terminated early.
Five changes for the Clover Leaves
There are five changes in Fürth's starting line-up today - previously there had never been more than three changes this season. However, three of the five adjustments are out of necessity: Simon Asta is suspended, and Maximilian Dietz and Nils Körber are missing due to injuries. Sacha Banse and Noel Futkeu are on the bench today, while Noll, Münz, Massimo, Müller and Srbeny are brought into the team.
Two changes for Lautern
Markus Anfang makes two changes compared to the successful start of the second half of the season against Ulm. Afeez Aremu and Erik Wekesser, who were only substitutes last week, are given the nod to start this time and replace Florian Kleinhansl (on the bench) and Jannis Heuer (absent) in the team.
Kaiserslautern starting XI
Krahl - Elvedi, Sirch, Wekesser - Gyamerah, Robinson, Kaloc, Aremu - Yokota, Ritter - Hanslik
Fürth starting XI
Noll - Jung, Münz, Itter - Massimo, Meyerhöfer, Müller, Gießelmann - Hrgota, Klaus - Srbeny
Markus Anfang's view on Fürth
"Fürth have a good squad with some game-changing individuals in there, too. It will be a difficult task. We saw the individual quality they have when we played earlier this season."
Jan Siewert's view on Kaiserslautern
"We're expecting a strong opponent who beat Ulm last time out. They've made some changes to their formation over the season - defensively with a back three and more variety in attack, We're prepared for that."
The match officials
Felix Prigan takes charge of this one, with Steven Greif and Michael Näther his assistants. Dominik Schaal is the fourth official, while Guido Winkmann assumes VAR duties, with support from Franz Bokop.
Ache in focus
Ragnar Ache has faced former club Fürth twice to date, scoring in each game - including the late equaliser for 2-2 earlier this season. He scored seven goals in 32 games for Greuther in 2022/23, compared to 25 across his first 40 for Kaiserslautern.
H2H record
Fürth have taken seven points from their last three matches against Kaiserslautern, who last beat the Clvoer Leaves in 2022/23 (3-1 home and away).
