ALABA MAKES IT FOUR!

Two in the space of a minute late on and what a hit from Alaba. He smashes a shot from all of 30 yards out which bounces just in front of Fährmann and he can't parry it wide of goal.

COMAN THIS TIME

The Frenchman is on the end of Müller's pass to the centre of the pitch and he is the next to test Fährmann, but the Schalke No.1 produces another fine save.
85'

MUSIALA MAGIC

Choupo-Moting feeds the young midfielder on the left, who stepovers past a defender before firing for the far bottom corner. Fährmann parries yet another shot away from his goal.

BOATENG BOOKED

Bayern's centre-back is cautioned for a late foul on Raman. His 4th of the season.

STILL NOT GIVING UP

Schalke are pushing and pushing to get a goal in this game. A goal they would deserve for their performance so far, but Bayern are showing no mercy themselves.

The Bayern No.9 gets a 10-minute rest, with Choupo-Moting coming on in his place.

NASTASIC BOOKED

That's the first yellow card of what has been a fair game in Gelsenkirchen. Nastasic bringing down Müller with a late clip.

ANOTHER CHANCE!

Uth fires a curling shot at goal but it's always drifting wide as it bounces narrowly past his post. Neuer not happy with his defence for allowing that to happen. That's Schalke's 13th attempt of the game.
72'

CHANGES GALORE

Two for Schalke, one for Bayern, with fresh legs on for both sides trying to change the result and keep it the same, depending on which side you're on.
66'

SÜLE ON THE RUN

Tidy passing interplay sees Musiala find Süle with space in front of him into the Schalke box. He goes for goal, but Kabak slides across to make a last-ditch block in front of Fährmann.
64'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Musiala and Coman come on to bring fresh legs to the Bayern attack, replacing Sane and Gnabry.

SERDAR SO CLOSE!

Another great chance as Serdar finds space to shoot past Alaba on the edge of Bayern's box. It's well-hit, and Neuer struggles to reach it before it bounces just inches wide of the post. Same story for Schalke today.
57'

SCHALKE STILL PUSHING

Harit finds Uth who fires at goal, but wide from 20 yards. The home side aren't giving up on this but Bayern just keep producing chances themselves and in Müller and Lewandowski, have players who are taking them.
54'

HISTORY FOR LEWANDOWSKI!

The Pole has become the first player in the Bundesliga's history to score in eight straight games away from home. It's his 11th game in a row with a goal against Schalke and 23rd for the season. Kimmich with another assist, as he lofts the ball over the Schalke defence. Lewandowski controls it superbly before beating off two defenders and slotting the ball under Fährmann.

HARIT SHINING

The Schalke playmaker is everywhere again in this second half, picking up play on the left wing and winning a corner on the right side of Bayern's area.
49'

GNABRY NOT FAR AWAY!

Already his sixth shot of the game, Gnabry beats Becker for pace on the outside before firing a show low across goal. Fährmann dives but can't reach it, but he can watch it bounce narrowly wide and out for a goal kick.

APPROACHING THE BREAK

Schalke won't be totally happy with this first half, but there has been a lot of promise for the bottom club. Big chances have fallen to Uth and Raman, but it's Bayern who have controlled possession and produced the most chances, and ultimately Müller who has them ahead.

MAGIC OF MÜLLER

Müller celebrated his eighth goal of the season and has now scored as many goals in 18 games this season as he did in the entire previous campaign. The last time Müller scored more goals in one season was in 2015/16 (20).
33'

BAYERN GET THE OPENER!

There have been an array of chances at both ends but it's Bayern who get the opener. Süle lays the ball off to Kimmich and he has time to pick a cross out, which he does to perfection with a curling cross to the back post where Müller has beaten Becker to the ball and he powers a header past Fährmann.

BIG CHANCE!

A corner swings in from the right and it comes off Kabak and bounces towards goal, forcing a reflex save from Neuer who pushes the ball away from both his goal and a couple of Schalke players waiting on a possible rebound.

GNABRY AGAIN!

The Bayern No.7 has been heavily involved so far and curls another shot at goal having cut inside from the left. Kimmich tries his best to head it on, but it floats through for Fährmann to gather.
26'

HUGE CHANCE!

Somehow, it's not 1-0 Bayern. Lewandowski whips in a fantastic cross to Gnabry who's six yards out in front of the Schalke goal. He mistimes his header, though, and sends the ball wide off his shoulder.
25'

RAMAN FORCES A SAVE

A long ball over the Bayern defence sends Raman away, and he's able to get a low shot away before the defence catches up. It's fired across goal, but Neuer is in the right spot to get down and gather that one.
23'

FÄHRMANN AT THE DOUBLE!

Lewandowski takes it short and Müller stop the ball for the Pole to then strike from 18 yards. It's fiercely hit but Fährmann parries it away. Gnabry is on the rebound straight away, though, and fires a shot back at goal. Fährmann is there once again to this time kick the ball away.
22'

FREE-KICK COMING...

Kabak brings down Sane right on the edge of the Schalke box. A big chance here for a host of takers.
19'

MAKING LIFE DIFFICULT

Schalke have not allowed Bayern to find their flow so far. The defensive shape is sound, and outlet passes to Uth, Hoppe and Harit are working well when Schalke want to release the pressure. And the Royal Blues are having possession of their own, too.

HUGE CHANCE FOR UTH!

What an opportunity for Schalke to open the scoring. The home side produce some fantastic flowing football up the pitch with Harit sending Oczipka into the Bayern area on the overlap. He dinks the ball up into the middle where Uth is waiting all alone. He heads down at goal, but it's straight at Neuer who kicks the ball away. What a huge chance that was.

GOOD CHANCE!

End-to-end stuff here as Bayern bring the ball up the pitch swiftly. Gnabry exchanges passes with Müller on the edge of the Schalke box before curling a shot for the far top corner. Just like his first effort, it's off the mark.
9'

SERDAR NOT FAR AWAY

Schalke respond well at the other end with Raman curling a cross into the Bayern area for Serdar to head at goal. It's curling towards the near post with Neuer diving across, but he can watch it drift narrowly wide in the end.
7'

BIG CHANCE!

Almost the opener for Bayern as Kimmich uses a touch of space to float a ball into the Schalke box. Kabak and Oczipka fail to pick up Lewandowski in the middle, but he sends his header over the top from just six or seven yards out. Not like Lewy at all.
4'

GNABRY HIGH AND WIDE

Gnabry joins his Bayern winger in having a go at goal from range, but he slices his just wide across goal. Bayern testing the Schalke defence early on.
3'

SANE HAS A GO!

Bayern respond with Sane cutting inside from the right past a couple of Schalke defenders before firing a shot for the far top corner. Fährmann can watch this one sail wide.
1'

FIRST GO AT GOAL

Schalke get the first attempt on goal as Becker picks up possession 25 yards from goal and has a pop with his left. It bounces in front of Neuer, but it's a simple one for the best on the planet.

SCHALKE'S TASK AT HAND

The Royal Blues will have been watching their relegation rivals closely yesterday, as Mainz stunned RB Leipzig, twice coming from behind to pick up an outstanding 3-2 win on Saturday. That victory took Mainz three points above Schlake at the bottom of the table. But Schalke's task remains the same. They sit eight points off Cologne - who play later - in the relegation play-off spot - and 10 off safety altogether.

BAYERN'S BRUTAL CONSISTENCY

Bayern claimed 39 points in the first half of this season, six more than last. From their last 34 matches played in the second half of a campaign the record champions have suffered just one defeat.

SCHALKE TEAM NEWS

Another morale boost for the squad arrived in the week in the form of Huntelaar, who has signed a deal until the end of the season. The Hunter returns to the side with which he spent seven years and scored 126 goals in almost 250 appearances. Huntelaar has been training individually this week but is not involved today, with Hoppe - who scored his fifth goal in his last three games in the defeat to Cologne - and Uth leading the attack. Mascarell came off the bench on Wednesday and starts from the there again, while Gross has been sweating on the fitness of captain Kolasinac who pulled up late on in the midweek game, and he is out.

BAYERN TEAM NEWS

Hernandez came in for Davies at left-back against Augsburg but the pair swap again for the trip to Schalke, while Sane starts ahead of Coman, alongside Gnabry - who is without a goal in his last 10 games - with Hansi Flick changing up the supporting cast of his attack.
