Off the line!
Gulácsi comes to clear a seemingly harmless ball, but spills it into the path of Jordan, who immediately stabs it goalless. Were it not for a goal-line clearance from Šeško, Union would have stolen it!

Second-half stoppage time
There are five minutes left to play in Köpenick. Can one of these sides find a late, late winner?
88'
Over again!
The ball rolls back to the edge of the Leipzig box once again, and this time Roussillon decides to have a go with his first touch. He suffers the same fate as Haberer did before him, as the effort flies over the bar.
87'
Two goalless games looming for Leipzig
This would be the first time since the end of 2023 that Marco Rose's side fail to score in two consecutive games.
85'
Across the face
Kampl puts it right across the corridor of uncertainty, and it's too far from both the Union 'keeper and defence. But, unfortunately for Leipzig, nobody is there to tap the ball in from a few yards out.

A couple more rolls of the dice
Both sides make a change each as Tousart and Poulsen get involved. There's not long to go now for either side to score to clinch what would be an important victory.

Worked nicely, final pass missing
The visitors work it nicely to Raum out on the left, but his flat cross back into the box can only find an Union defender. This has rather been the story of the day for Rose's charges.

Who, if anyone, is going to provide the magic?
With fresh legs on for both sides, can somebody make the difference or will it be honours even in the capital?

First Leipzig card

Aerial duel not always needed
Orbán shows his awareness as he elects not to head the ball and instead let it run through to his 'keeper given that there was no Union player near the ball. Clever play from the skipper.
57'
Ball in the net, flag in the air!
Nusa's silky run into the box causes problems for the Union defence. He is eventually tackled, but the ball falls straight to Šeško, who powers it in. However, the offside flag goes up against the Slovenian, and following a VAR check, the goal is officially chalked off.
55'
Off target
Skarke rolls it back to Haberer on the edge of the box, who, in a lot of space, is unable to keep the shot down and it sails up and over the goal.

Stoppage time
60 seconds have been added on at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
45'
Brief interruption
Openda and Haberer collide with each other, and the referee waves on both medical teams.
44'
Clever flick from Skarke
The midfielder doesn't give up on the ball as it looks to be rolling out behind the by-line, and instead, plays it cleverly back into the danger area with the back of his heel. This forces Bitshiabu to intervene, as he gets in front of Prtajin and clears it behind for a corner, from which nothing comes.
42'
Neat turn and shot
Union launch a counter as Prtajin chases to get to the ball on the right touchline. He plays it into the centre quickly and finds Bénes, who controls it with his chest, and, with his back to goal, spins and tries to curl it past Gulácsi from the edge of the box. In the end, it's an easy save for the Hungarian.
41'
Just wide from Xavi!
Orban clips it in behind for Xavi, who tries to chip it over Rønnow and into the far corner. The effort flies just wide, and then the offside flag is raised retrospectively.
40'
Leipzig block out the Berliners
A dangerous flat cross comes in from the right, but a Leipzig player manages to get a foot to it to take it away from the path of any onrushing Unioner. Skov chases the ball as it flies off to the left, but his next cross is blocked and cleared by Baku.
38'
A first touch away
Khedira slides a clever pass into Prtajin on the edge of the box, but due to a poor first contact, the ball gets away from the striker and rolls into the gloves of Gulácsi. That could have been a good chance for the home side!
38'
Leipzig dropping off
The visitors are happy for Union to have the ball at the back, not adopting their usual high-pressing tactics.
35'
Unlucky deflection comes to nothing
Prtajin's cross into the centre from the left side of the area is sharp, and Seiwald cannot gets his feet right whilst trying to clear it. The ball bounces off his standing foot and rolls towards his own goal. Gulácsi is able to get behind it, but that could have been dangerous for the visitors.
32'
First booking
Juranović is booked after a foul on Xavi.
32'
Nothing more than a half chance so far
With both teams seeking to establish physical dominance in the game, goalscoring opportunities have been few and far between at both ends. Can either side change this in the final minutes of the first half?
30'
Šeško proving a handful
Linking up nicely with Openda on the halfway line, the Slovenia international dribbles right through the centre of the Union half before his pass to Raum is cut out by an Union player. The capital city side are struggling to keep tabs on the striker!
27'
Airball!
Union's play is often associated with lots of aerial duels, but Leipzig too are following suit, opting to play several long balls in behind in search of their pacey attackers.
26'
Haberer has a go
The midfielder makes a late run forward, and so is in plenty of space just outside the box. The ball gets played to him, and he takes a touch before taking aim. On this occasion, he drags it wide.
24'
Next example of the physicality
Šeško shrugs off a defender before driving up the pitch, and just as he looks to play in a teammate, he receives a body check which is deemed fair by the referee, who says play on. This isn't a match for shrinking violets!
22'
A physical encounter
It's been an intense first half of the first half, with aerial duels in abundance and plenty of fierce challenges coming in.
19'
Straight at the 'keeper
Juranović tries his luck from distance, but the eventual shot is tame and rolls comfortably into the hands of Gulácsi.
18'
Union looking to build an attack
Prtajin is holding up the ball well on his first Bundesliga start, and he is helping to bring his teammates into the game.
15'
Set-pieces stacking up
Union are awarded a free kick on the left touchline after Orbán fouls Hollerbach. Bénes sends the ball into the box, but the away side are able to clear easily.
13'
Next Leipzig corner
Raum steps up to take this one, swinging it in with his left foot. It gets partially cleared with a Rønnow punch, coming out as far as Xavi, who tries a speculative effort on the half volley that sails high and wide.
11'
Sharp cross from Baku
The January signing sprints down the right wing before firing a cross into the box at around chest high in search of Šeško. However, the ball falls comfortably into the hands of the Union 'keeper.
11'
Early Union pressure
With Leipzig looking to build from the back, Union have decided not to let their visitors have it easy and are getting right in the faces of Marco Rose's side.
9'
A first win over Leipzig in sight
New Union boss Steffen Baumgart has never got the better of his opposition tonight in the Bundesliga. Can he break the duck this evening?
7'
First set-piece scenario for the Iron Ones
Bénes lifts a free kick into the area from a central position, but the opportunity meets the same fate as their visitors' first set-piece, and is easily dealt with.
5'
Orbán making his presence felt
The Leipzig skipper has already demonstrated his aerial ability, winning two duels in quick succession.
3'
Openda tries to be creative
The Belgium international almost sends Baku through with a neat backheel, but his pass is cut out by Skov and the attack breaks down.
2'
Early corner for the visitors
Šeško wins the first set piece as his cross is deflected behind. Xavi swings it in, but the header is comfortably cleared by Union.

And we're off!
Leipzig get things going in the capital as Saturday's final Bundesliga match begins.
Kick-off!
We Remember/ Never again
There's a moment's reflection ahead of kick-off to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and to pass on the message of Holocaust survivors. German football also paid their respects on Matchday 19.
Milestones on either side
