Full-time: St. Pauli 1-1 Augsburg

Augsburg youngster Mert Kömür emerged as the hero in Hamburg, pulling a stunning goal out of nowhere to clinch his side a share of the points after St. Pauli had shut up shop following Banks's own-goal early in the first half. Augsburg boss Jess Thorup deserves credit for his bold choices late on, and Pauli for their defending for most of the match, but Kömür's unexpected strike - from Augsburg's first shot on target - was something really special.

Kömür getting amongst it

Last week against Heidenheim, Augsburg's winning goal was a product of the substitute Keven Schlotterbeck and Mert Kömür, and today Kömür himself struck – the 19-year-old's second Bundesliga goal.
86'

Out of nowhere

St. Pauli had the game under control for long spells, but failed to maintain the pressure in the second half. Substitutes Steve Mounié and Kömür - brought on as Thorup opted to go all-in late on in the piece - created the chances that led to the somewhat lucky equaliser.

Kömür with the leveller!

The Augsburg substitute gets his side back in the match - with their first shot on goal! A high cross from Giannoulis on the left falls for the youngster who, in a tightly packed area, conjures a superb volley that beats Vasiljhands down. Spectacular!

Almost 2-0!

Jackson Irvine makes a strong run deep down the right, and his low cross almost leads to a second own-goal:Chrislain Matsima clears with a sliding tackle, but the ball goes only narrowly wide of the post.

Augsburg have to do more

This is not a spectacular offensive display. Neither team is creating much danger in the second half, despite plenty of effort. Augsburg have to start taking more risks if they are to change the dynamics of the game.

Strong stats for Treu

The left-back has taken three of his team's four shots on goal - one of which up the own-goal -and he also won an impressive 70 percent of his duels in the first 45 minutes.

Augsburg getting closer

Augsburg almost get theri first shot off. Wolf gets through on the right and crosses, but Essende's attempt is blocked - and in any case the flag is raised for offside.

Eggestein takes too long

After Saliakas's smart run is picked out with a superb pass from Irvine, the Greek gets the ball to Eggestein. But the striker needs too long and the opportunity evaporates.

Half-time: St. Pauli 1-0 Augsburg

The hosts started strongly and took a deserved lead when Philipp Treu forced an own-goal from Noahkai Banks after just 17 minutes. Pauli continued to create chances, notably through new signing Noah Weißhaupt, but also stayed solid at the back. Augsburg are yet to have a shot and will need to do much better in the second half if they are to get back into this match.

The pros and cons of possession

Augsburg are bossing possession more and more. But that hasn't made them any more dangerous. On the contrary: St. Pauli have looked the more dangerous side - notably when centre-back Smith floated a long ball over the defence for Saliakas.

Guilavogui in the spotlight

The statistics very much match what we've seen so far. Almost 70 per cent of all attacks by Pauli are coming down the right – that is, via Guilavogui, who also set up the goal.

Pauli's defensive credentials

The hosts have conceded just 21 goals this season. Only Bayern (16) have done better. It won't be easy for Augsburg to get back into the game here.

Dubious honour

Finn Dahmen makes an outstanding save low at his right post, but Treu is quick to follow up and fires a low shot to the far corner, which a back-pedalling Noahkai Banks inadvertently bundles over the line. This is the only change for the Hamburgers compared to the previous week. Like his opposite number, Jess Thorup is only making one change to his team from last weekend. Marius Wolf, Phillip Tietz and Yusuf Kabadayı were all on target as Augsburg claimed a convincing home victory over St. Pauli when these sides met earlier in the season. That was Augsburg's first win of the campaign.

St. Pauli to hold minute's silence

As part of the Remembrance Day in German Football initiative, St. Pauli have been granted permission to hold a minute's silence before kick-off against Augsburg to commemorate the victims of the Nazi regime. Both teams will also carry a banner stating 'No forgiveness' and 'No forgetting' as they take to the pitch.

Streak killers?

Augsburg could set two club records on Matchday 20: most consecutive Bundesliga wins (four) and most consecutive away wins (three). However, in three previous visits, they've never won a game at St. Pauli.
