2024/25 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fixtures lists revealed
The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) has released the fixtures lists for the 2024/25 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 seasons. The Bundesliga will kick off with the opening match between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen. Bundesliga 2 will start with Cologne against Hamburg.
The Bundesliga starts its 62nd season with a duel between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen. The new season begins on Friday, 23 August 2024 at 8:30pm CEST at BORUSSIA-PARK.
The new Bundesliga 2 season kicks off three weeks earlier, on Friday, 2 August 2024. In the opening match, Cologne host Hamburg at the RheinEnergieSTADION at 8:30pm CEST.

The exact dates and times of fixtures for Bundesliga Matchdays 1-5 will be announced between 15–19 July. For Bundesliga 2, the precise fixture list for Matchdays 1-2 will be announced next week (8–12 July), and then for Matchdays 3–7 together with the first Bundesliga fixtures (15–19 July). Further announcements regarding the matchday schedules will be made as the season progresses, depending on the performance of the clubs in European club competitions, as well as in the DFB Cup.
The Supercup – this year between double winners Bayer Leverkusen and league runners-up VfB Stuttgart - will take place on Saturday, 17 August 2024 (8.30pm CEST) at the BayArena in Leverkusen.
