Florian Wirtz wins January's Bundesliga Goal of the Month!
Florian Wirtz fended off some fierce competition to win the Bundesliga's Goal of the Month award for January 2025 in a vote exclusively held in the Official Bundesliga app.
It is the next in an ever increasing list of accolades for the 21-year-old, whose ballot-snatching goal was one of nine so far in Germany's top flight this season, in addition to a league-leading nine assists.
Collecting a long pass forward against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Matchday 18, he dribbled forward, effortlessly nutmegged defender Ko Itakura before coolly firing in from the edge of the area en route to a 3-1 success.
