With victories over Real Madrid and AC Milan already under their belts, record champions Bayern Munich can afford to be confident heading into the 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign.
Last season’s Bundesliga top scorer Robert Lewandowski has picked up where he left in 2018/19, scoring two goals in three pre-season games, while Jerome Boateng has been putting in imperious performances at the back.
Throw in French FIFA World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard and promising Germany youth international striker Fiete Arp, and Bayern’s pre-season fixtures have been games to keep your eyes on!

Leon Goretzka scored the only goal of the game as a dominant Bayern side eased to a 1-0 victory over AC Milan in Kansas City as the club signed off from their US summer tour in style.

Back in Germany, Thomas Müller scored a hat-trick as Bayern overwhelmed Fenerbahce 6-1 to set up a meeting with UEFA Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the Audi Cup in Munich.
The champions then headed down to the Bavarian lakes where they faced local side FC Rottach-Egern. Club record signing Lucas Hernandez made his first appearance in Bayern colours as the Munich giants ran riot in a 23-0 victory.
