In cooperation with AWS, the Bundesliga introduced the new Skills Bundesliga Match Fact on Matchday 25 of 2021/22, which ranks the league’s top players in four categories. Skills combine various statistical values and are divided into “Sprinter”, “Ball winner”, “Initiator” and “Finisher”.

bundesliga.com brings you the top 10 ball winners in the league.

The Ball Winner Skill looks at the number of times possession was won after challenges – both on the ground and in the air – and the number of interceptions made.
