Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong named in EA Sports Team of the Year
Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Jeremie Frimpong has been included in the EA Sports Team of the Year for 2023, as voted for by fans.

Frimpong is admired and feared in equal measure throughout the Bundesliga for his pace and incisive attacking runs - qualities that now gained a worldwide audience after the Netherlands international was named in the EA Sports Team of the Year for 2023.
Fans from across the globe took part in the vote on the official website between 8 and 14 January. From the 85 players on the final shortlist, comprised of stars plying their trade in the Bundesliga, the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Liga Portugal, the MLS and the Saudi Pro League, a Best XI was chosen.
