Tuta pulls late equaliser out of the bag as Eintracht Frankfurt hold RB Leipzig
Tuta scored in the final minute of added time to rescue Eintracht Frankfurt a point at home to RB Leipzig, who missed the chance to move into the top four for the first time this season.
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-1 RB Leipzig
Goals: 0-1 Poulsen 35' (assist: Szoboszlai), 1-1 Tuta 90'+4 (assist: Kostic)
Yussuf Poulsen made his presence felt early at Deutsche Bank Park, Leipzig's Great Dane getting on the end of Dominik Szoboszlai's pass into the box but thwarted by Kevin Trapp. Filip Kostic returned fire for Frankfurt with an audacious long-range attempt that cannoned back off the upright, with Peter Gulacsi well beaten. Poulsen forced Trapp into evasive action once again, before Ajdin Hrustic saw a fierce volley from a Kostic corner off the training ground blocked. Poulsen then made it a case of third time lucky when he applied an acrobatic close-range finish to Szoboszlai's corner.
Rafael Santos Borre was presented with the first meaningful opening of the second half, but his header failed to test Gulacsi. Leipzig's response was immediate as Christopher Nkunku forced his way in on the Frankfurt goal, only to overcook a pass intended for Amadou Haidara when he probably could have gone it alone. Nkunku didn't make the same mistake twice with 70 minutes on the clock, but the Frenchman couldn't beat Trapp, and Szoboszlai put the rebound wide. Leipzig looked the most likely scorers as substitute Emil Forsberg twice went close, only for Tuta to head in a Kostic set-piece with the last action of the game.
