Sadio Mane

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: Forward
Value: 16M

No matter where Mane lines up in the Bayern attack, he's going to have a big say in the record champions' output. The Senegalese forward registered 120 goals and 48 assists in 269 competitive appearances for old club Liverpool; often operating as a left winger, but sometimes through the middle and at other times out on the right. Given his willingness to play anywhere and prolific track record, he might just give new teammates Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller a run for their money at the top of the scoring and assists charts respectively.

Sebastien Haller

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: Forward
Value: 15M

Unlike Mane, Haller already knows his way around the Bundesliga. The Ivory Cost striker struck 24 times in 60 top-flight games for Eintracht Frankfurt, before doing the business in England with West Ham and Ajax of the Netherlands. Fresh off a 47-goal season for the latter, he's tailor-made to fill the Erling Haaland-sized void at Dortmund against whom he scored twice in last year's UEFA Champions League groups. Nicknamed 'the bulldozer' in his Frankfurt days, the 6'2" striker should also rack up plenty of bonus points for won duels.

Noussair Mazraoui

Club: Bayern Munich
Position: Defender
Value: 11M

Left-back Alphonso Davies was among the top-performing defenders in Fantasy Bundesliga last season, but Bayern's right side wasn't quite as productive. Step forward Noussair Mazraoui, an adventurous right-back who many expect to unseat 2018 FIFA World Cup Benjamin Pavard in Julian Nagelsmann's preferred XI. The Morocco international moves to the record champions having had a direct hand in seven Eredivisie goals for Ajax last term, including five of his own. That's as many as the 2021/22 Bundesliga's highest-scoring defender, Philipp Lienhart (Freiburg).

Thomas Ouwejan

Club: Schalke
Position: Defender
Value: 5M

In keeping with the 'full-backs are the best way to go' philosophy, Thomas Ouwejan is another solid bet - and less than half the price of Mazraoui at that. Schalke's left-sided defender set up eight goals in Bundesliga 2 last season, whilst scoring three of his own. He also ranked fifth league wide for crosses from open play (106), despite missing six matches through injury. Bundesliga Fantasy tends to reward adventurous full-backs - the only question is: do you trust Mr. Bundesliga 2 Simon Terodde to make the step up and finish off Ouwejan's laser-guided deliveries?

Jordan Siebatcheu

Club: Union Berlin
Position: Forward
Value: 7M

Siebatcheu certainly has the credentials to answer the call over in the German capital. The USMNT striker has joined Union Berlin as a like-for-like replacement for Taiwo Awoniyi, who top scored for the club with 15 goals in 31 matches last season, albeit largely in mini bursts and just four times on the road. Siebatcheu, on the other hand, never went more than three league games without scoring for Young Boys (seven at home and 15 away in 32 Swiss Super League outings).

What's more, Union's new man can count on the supply line - Sheraldo Becker, Niko Gießelmann et al. - that served his predecessor so well.
