Fantasy Sales 2023/24: Get Harry Kane and other new signings on cut-price deals!
Fantasy Sales have been revamped for 2023/24. In addition to the usual cut-price player for each Bundesliga club on any given matchday, a weekly trio of summer signings are being made available for a bargain one-off fee.

Each week in the run-up to the new season, three new additions to the league will see their Fantasy price reduced by 10%. Every player discounted will remain at that lower price until Matchday 1 kicks off, after which they will revert to their normal price and the usual sales process of one player per club per week commences.
While you can sometimes turn a profit with clever use of sales during a season, your initial squad budget of 150M cannot be increased by using pre-season sales.
Here's the list of players who could bag you a bargain, and why...
Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
Position: Forward
Sale price: 15M -> 13.5M
Snap him up, folks! This is the cheapest that Kane is likely to be all season. With players' values subject to change throughout a campaign, depending on if their matchday points haul is better than the position average, Kane's price is set to shoot up in the coming weeks and months as he inevitably starts banging the goals in for Bayern. A proven goalscorer for Tottenham - he struck 30 times in the Premier League last season - and at international level for England (58 in 84 caps), can you afford not to have him?

Vaclav Cerny (Wolfsburg)
Position: Midfield
Price: 8M -> 7.2M
If you’ve not heard of him, don’t worry – you soon will. The 25-year-old Czech Republic international could be one of those under-the-radar signings that hit big. The right winger plundered 13 goals and 11 assists in 32 league outings for Twente Enschede in the Dutch Eredivisie last season, and has four goals in 11 caps on the international scene. A shrewd signing from Niko Kovac for what is an increasingly attack-minded Wolfsburg team.
Tom Krauß (Mainz)
Position: Midfield
Price: 7M -> 6.3M
A graduate of RB Leipzig’s youth academy, 22-year-old Krauß earned his breakthrough in Bundesliga 2 with Nuremberg before switching to Schalke at the start of last season. The central midfielder impressed in a Royal Blues side that struggled and eventually ended up being relegated, scoring twice. While perhaps not a proific Fantasy points scorer, he still managed a couple of big hauls last term and, given the scoring changes for 2023/24, is a bargain alternative to have in your squad.
Watch: See why Krauß was named Rookie of the Month in February 2023
Alexander Nübel (VfB Stuttgart)
Position: Goalkeeper
Sale price: 7M -> 6.3M
Following the departure of Florian Müller to Freiburg, Stuttgart were in desperate need of a new, top-quality goalkeeper, and they have hit the jackpot by loaning Nübel from Bayern Munich. He impressed while on loan at AS Monaco for the past two seasons and didn't miss a single Ligue 1 game, keeping 20 clean sheets along the way. Now, at 26, he has the experience he previously lacked. There aren’t many number one choices cheaper than him, certainly not with his proven quality.
Watch: Nübel's best saves
Marcel Sabitzer (Borussia Dortmund)
Position: Midfielder
Sale price: 11M -> 9.9M
Sabitzer’s switch to Bayern from RB Leipzig did not quite work out as planned but, after spending the second half of the previous campaign on loan at Manchester United, he is now ready to once again attack the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund were more than happy to swoop for his services and although he is not cheap, signing him while on sale will certainly boost your squad. A tenacious midfielder in what is expected to be a strong Dortmund outfit, he is a fantastic, mid-range option to complement your star players.
Watch: Sabitzer's best skills
Fraser Hornby (Darmstadt)
Position: Forward
Sale Price: 3M -> 2.7M
At 2.7m, Hornby is one of the cheapest strikers in the game. Stepping into the shoes of Darmstadt’s top goalscorer from last time out and now Augsburg player Philipp Tietz will not be an easy task, but the 23-year-old’s eight goals in 21 Belgian Jupiler League outings for KV Oostende last term suggest he could be good for a few strikes this campaign. He also has 10 goals in 18 caps for Scotland’s U21s and is likely to start regularly for The Lillies. As such, he's an exciting prospect to have in your squad that could well make it into your top XI each week.
Lois Openda (RB Leipzig)
Position: Forward
Sale price: 14M -> 12.6M
Leipzig are spot on more times than not when it comes to identifying soaring talents in the game. In signing Lois Openda, the DFB Cup holders reckon they are onto another winner. The bustling Belgian centre-forward led the line with aplomb for Lens last season as they took Ligue 1 by storm, finishing the 2022/23 campaign a single point behind Paris Saint-Germain as runners-up. As a Fantasy manager, you can now take advantage of a bargain price - and should Openda bring the form that saw him net 21 times in France last season to the Bundesliga, the points will fly in for both Leipzig and your team.
Watch: Welcome to RB Leipzig, Lois Openda!
Tomas Cvancara (Borussia Mönchengladbach)
Position: Forward
Price: 7M -> 6.3 M
Gladbach are fond of giving exciting talents a platform and their summer Czech strike signing looks set to be a fascinating addition to the Bundesliga. Cvancara boasts both the speed and technical ability to slot right into the Foals' side under new head coach Gerardo Seoane, having smashed 15 goals last season for Czech champions Sparta Prague and scored against Poland on his first full international appearance. If you also think Cvancara can shine, why not slot him into your Fantasy team for a bargain price?
Masaya Okugawa (Augsburg)
Position: Midfielder
Price: 7M -> 6.3 M
The hard-working former Red Bull Salzburg midfielder joined Augsburg on a free transfer from Arminia Bielefeld following their relegation from Bundesliga 2 last season. Okugawa certainly could not be faulted for Bielefeld's slide to the third tier with a highly impressive 15 goal involvements in 30 league appearances. The five-time Japanese international could prove just as much a bargain for your Fantasy team as for Augsburg - and you can snap him up for a special sales price any time from now until the start of the season.
Brenden Aaronson (Union Berlin)
Position: Midfielder
Sale price: 9M -> 8.1M
He hasn't played Bundesliga football before, but Aaronson has cut the mustard across the border in Austria. The US international featured in 66 competitive matches across two seasons with Red Bull Salzburg, registering 13 goals and 15 assists. Rotation has to be a consideration with anyone on the Union books - they're set to make their UEFA Champions League debut in 2023/24 - but the Leeds United loanee is unlike any player in the current squad and should flourish in such a strong counter-attacking unit.
Watch: Brenden Aaronson arrives at Union
Robin Koch (Eintracht Frankfurt)
Position: Central defender
Price: 9M -> 8.1M
Koch might be a familar name to some of you. He rose to top-flight prominence at Freiburg, before moving to Leeds in 2020 with 82 Bundesliga appearances under his belt. The eight-time Germany international is a no-nonsense type of defender who can be expected to rack up the points for challenges won. He's never been sent off, so the only major deductions he's likely to receive are for goals conceded, while there's passes-to-a-shot potential for those days he's deployed in defensive midfield.
Marvin Pieringer (Heidenheim)
Position: Forward
Price: 6M -> 5.4M
Players from promoted clubs can be a fantastic differential, especially at the embryonic stage of the season. Managers who backed Werder Bremen duo Mitchell Weiser and Niclas Füllkrug from the start of 2022/23 forged ahead of their rivals - can Heidenheim's Pieringer have a similar impact? He hit 10 goals for Paderborn in Bundesliga 2 last term and has the second tier's 25-goal top scorer Tim Kleindienst for company at his new club. Opening fixtures against Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim should provide a suitable measure of his true worth, for a relatively low initial outlay of under 6M.

Granit Xhaka (Bayer Leverkusen)
Position: Midfielder
Sale price: 11M -> 9.9M
After seven years in England with Arsenal, Xhaka is back in the Bundesliga and has his eyes set on bringing much sought after success to the BayArena. He should immediately slot into Xabi Alonso's midfield and there will be plenty of opportunities for the 30-year-old to stack up points for both his club coach and those who select him in Fantasy Manager. As witnessed in his previous stint with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Xhaka has an eye for the spectacular on his lethal left foot, while he should also sweep up points for challenges won, passes to a shot and shots on goal. Expect to also see Xhaka stood over set-pieces regularly, too.
Watch: Granit Xhaka's best Bundesliga goals
Florian Grillitsch (Hoffenheim)
Position: Midfielder
Sale price: 7M -> 6.3M
Another man back in the Bundesliga, Grillitsch spent a season with Ajax before returning to Hoffenheim this summer. He may not pose the same goal threat that Xhaka does but his industry will bring similar points for Fantasy owners. Expected to operate at the base of the TSG midfield, Grillitsch will surely stack up the points for challenges won and his versatility could push him further up the pitch. From there, the Austrian is more than capable of adding to his six Bundesliga goals and 14 assists.
Moritz-Broni Kwarteng (Bochum)
Position: Midfielder
Price: 6M -> 5.4M
Kwarteng will certainly operate at the top of the pitch for Bochum, having enjoyed a remarkable rise in recent years. The 25-year-old was playing in the third tier as recently as the 2021/22 campaign, before scoring 10 times across 29 Bundesliga 2 appearances last term. Kwarteng played as a centre-forward, from both wings and as an attacking midfielder with Magdeburg last season, hinting at an OOP player who could prove a major differential in Fantasy. Should Kwarteng hit the ground running, passes to a shot, shots on goal, assists and goals of his own will soon follow - as will the Fantasy points.
Naby Keita (Werder Bremen)
Position: Midfielder
Sale price: 11M -> 9.9M
He won it all with Liverpool - now Keita's back. The former RB Leipzig midfielder is a shoo-in for a starting berth at new employers Bremen, who served up two of the best-value 2022/23 Fantasy players in right-back Mitchell Weiser and 16-goal top scorer Niclas Füllkrug. Keita's by no means prolific in terms of goals and assists, but he should hoover up points for challenges won, passes to a shot and goal attempts - and for a significanly lower outlay than the likes of Joshua Kimmich and Julian Brandt.
Watch: Welcome to Bremen, Naby Keita!
Junior Adamu (Freiburg)
Position: Forward
Sale price: 10M -> 9M
From a relative old timer, to a fresh-faced newcomer: Adamu is taking the next big step in his burgeoning career with Freiburg. The Austria international won't walk into Christian Streich's preferred XI, but he does have all the credentials needed to challenge Ritsu Doan and Lucas Höler for regular minutes in attack alongside talisman Vincenzo Grifo. Ten goals and four assists in last season's Austrian Bundesliga marked a pretty rosy return for the versatile 22-year-old, who has also scored in the UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
Leart Paqarada (Cologne)
Position: Defender
Price: 7M -> 6.3M
Another new face on the Bundesliga scene, Paqarada makes the switch to Cologne from Bundesliga 2 outfit St. Pauli. A transfer agreed back in January, he arrives as a ready-made replacement at left-back for club legend and retired captain Jonas Hector. His predecessor was a pretty handy Fantasy proposition this past campaign, but Paqarada teases even greater gains. The Kosovo international was second league wide for assists (10) and crosses from open play (144) in 2022/23 alone. Considering Cologne head coach Steffen Baumgart's penchant for a target man in attack, Paqarada has to at least be on your shortlist of defensive options...
