Leroy Sane and Niklas Süle were the only Bayern players to have been called up to Joachim Löw's squad for last month's 1-1 draws with Spain and Switzerland in UEFA Nations League Group A4, with the remainder of the treble-winning contingent given a well-earned rest.
Neuer and Kimmich were named UEFA Goalkeeper and Defender of the Year respectively on Thursday - even if the latter has made the central midfield position his own for club and country over the past season.
Borussia Dortmund's Mahmoud Dahoud and Borussia Mönchengladbach's Jonas Hofmann are in line for full international debuts, meanwhile.
Dahoud, now 24, racked up 26 youth international appearances for Germany before exceeding the U21 age limit in 2019. The Syria-born midfielder started for Dortmund in Wednesday's Supercup, in which die Schwarzgelben were edged 3-2 by Bayern.
Germany play Turkey in a friendly in Cologne on Wednesday before returning to their UEFA Nations League campaign against Ukraine on 10 October and then Switzerland on 13 October.
