Hertha Berlin part ways with sporting director Fredi Bobic
Fredi Bobic has been released from his role as sporting director at Hertha Berlin.
An announcement on the club's official website read: "Hertha BSC's steering committee, together with the supervisory board of the Hertha BSC e.V., have released sporting director Fredi Bobic from his duties with immediate effect."
The news comes shortly after Hertha's 2-0 derby defeat against Union Berlin. Bobic, 51, moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to the capital club at the beginning of the 2021/22 season and had held the post of sporting director since then.
