Niclas Füllkrug joins West Ham from Borussia Dortmund
The former Bundesliga top scorer and Germany international is leaving Borussia Dortmund, having signed for English Premier League side West Ham United.
Niclas Füllkrug leaves the Bundesliga after firing 56 goals in 157 appearances. While he made his league debut for Werder Bremen in January 2012, the 31-year-old became known as a late bloomer as he netted 16 goals in the 2022/23 campaign to finish joint top-scoring following Bremen's promotion.
That led to a switch to Dortmund, for whom he scored 12 goals in 2023/24 as well as inspiring them to the UEFA Champions League final - with a memorable goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals.
After making his Germany debut in November 2022, Füllkrug has scored 13 goals in 21 appearances for his national team.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl said: "Niclas is a great player and a really good guy who identified with BVB extremely quickly. It was not our plan to let him go this summer.
"However, in view of an extraordinary offer and his personal desire to take the opportunity of a long-term contract in the Premier League, we have decided to agree to the transfer. Even though it was only a year together, we would like to express our thanks to you, dear Niclas, and wish you and your family all the best in England,"
Niclas Füllkrug said "I had an unbelievably good time at BVB. I would like to say thank you to everyone and I wish the club and its wonderful fans nothing but the best."
