Kostic’s tireless efforts for Frankfurt this season have allowed coach Adi Hütter to leave the left flank to the 27-year-old alone. Able to play left or right, in defence, midfield and attack, Hakimi is a jack of all trades and master of some. No "defender" has come close to his 10 assists this season. Niederlechner has arguably been the biggest surprise package in the Bundesliga this season. The 29-year-old last hit double figures in 2016/17, but has enjoyed a new lease of life at Augsburg. Timo Werner - with 21 goals - is the only German to have scored more goals. Are you watching, Jogi?
