This year’s tournament is being hosted online with 24 participants representing 13 different Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 clubs. They were divided into two groups of six per console (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), with the top four in each group going through to the knockout stage.

The knockouts consisted of the round of 16 and quarter-finals. The winners progressed to the semi-finals on Sunday (12pm CEST/11am BST/6am ET), which represent the console finals.

The PlayStation 4 side of the draw sees Kai 'deto' Wollin face Mohammed 'MoAuba' Harkous, while Dylan 'DullenMIKE' Neuhausen contests the Xbox One semi-final against Yannic 'Yannic0109' Bederke.

The Grand Final culminates in the cross-platform final to crown the champion.

Twelve of the 24 participants for the Grand Final qualified back in February through the VBL Club Championship that saw Werder Bremen defend their title. They also boast reigning German eFootball Champion Michael ‘MegaBit’ Bittner in their ranks, who qualified alongside teammate Erhan ‘DrErhano’ Kayman.

Greuther Fürth, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wolfsburg and Bochum completed the top six and are entitled to put forward one player per console.

RB Leipzig, Hamburg, Hertha Berlin, VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, Cologne and Augsburg are the other clubs represented in the group stage.
