Marco Grüll leads Werder Bremen to stunning late comeback against Augsburg
Werder Bremen staged an incredible late comeback to beat Augsburg 3-2 at the Weserstadion, with Mitchell Weiser's stoppage-time winner completing the turnaround.

Bremen named an unchanged starting XI for the third straight Bundesliga match under Daniel Thioune. Augsburg made one change, with Mert Kömür making his first league start of the season in place of Arijon Ibrahimović.
Fellhauer punishes Bremen
Chuki struck the outside of the post from a Bremen free-kick, but Augsburg controlled the early exchanges and Michael Gregoritsch headed a good chance straight at Karl Hein.
The visitors then broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when Fabian Rieder played a perfectly weighted pass into space, catching Bremen's high line out, and Robin Fellhauer raced through to slot coolly past Hein. Bremen responded with more possession but struggled to create clear openings, with Niclas Füllkrug's header before the break lacking the power to trouble Finn Dahmen.
Brackelmann doubles lead
Bremen began the second half brightly, with Chuki, Eren Dinkçi and Füllkrug all testing Dahmen without success. Augsburg then struck again in the 58th minute when Alexis Claude-Maurice swung in a corner and Calvin Brackelmann glanced home at the front post to make it 2-0 with his first Bundesliga goal.
The hosts kept pushing, however, and pulled one back in the 66th minute as Chuki released Marco Grüll, who cut inside Noahkai Banks and fired into the top corner to reduce the arrears. Dahmen then denied Mitchell Weiser and Chuki in quick succession to preserve his side's lead.
Füllkrug and Weiser complete turnaround
With time running out, a scrap for possession involving Grüll saw the ball fall to Füllkrug, who lashed a ferocious shot past Dahmen from the edge of the box in the 86th minute to level the scores.
Bremen were not finished, however. Deep into stoppage time, Grüll cut the ball back for substitute Weiser, who whipped a brilliant left-footed shot into the far top corner to complete an extraordinary 3-2 win for the hosts.
Man of the Match: Marco Grüll
Grüll scored Bremen's first goal himself, cutting inside Banks to fire into the top corner, then set up Füllkrug's equaliser before providing the assist for Weiser's winning goal in stoppage time.
His involvement in all three home goals saw him named Man of the Match with 51 percent of the vote.
