Werder Bremen vs. Eintracht Frankfurt cancelled
Sunday's Bundesliga match between Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt has been cancelled due to the postponement of Frankfurt's UEFA Europa League match.
The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL), in consultation with both clubs, has decided to cancel Matchday 24's meeting between Bremen and Frankfurt due to the shortened recovery time available to Frankfurt players.
The Eagles' UEFA Europa League last-32 second leg match against Red Bull Salzburg was due to take place on Thursday evening, but was postponed until Friday due to storms in the local area.
The match was scheduled to kick-off at 6.00pm CET at Bremen's wohninvest Weserstadion.
Details of the rearranged fixture will be announced in the coming weeks, the DFL have confirmed.
It is the 388th cancellation of a Bundesliga match since the league's founding in 1963, and the second this season after the Rhine derby between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Cologne was called off on Matchday 21, and rescheduled to Wednesday 11 March.
NOTE: As a result of the fixture being postponed, any players from those teams in your Official Fantasy Bundesliga side will be awarded the average number of points for players in their position.
