Key stats
Paris native Dina Ebimbe came through the youth ranks of his local club, before spending the 2019/20 season on loan at Le Havre. After registering three goals and one assist in 25 games in Ligue 2, he made the step up the following year, joining Dijon. His performances over 30 Ligue 1 appearances opened the door to a return to PSG, where he featured in 14 senior games in 2021/22, before switching to Frankfurt on a season-long loan.
Dina Ebimbe enjoyed a winning Bundesliga debut against RB Leipzig, and started all but two of Frankfurt's 13 competitive games between October and the 2022 World Cup break. The 6'0" midfielder, who tends to operate on the right-hand side, tallied two goals and an assist between Matchdays 11-14, earning the October and November Rookie of the Month awards for his efforts. Having recovered from ankle surgery in time for the run-in, the France youth international scored his third Bundesliga goal on the final day of 2022/23, before signing a permanent deal though to summer 2027.
Up and running in his new surroundings, Dina Ebimbe stole the headlines in a thumping 5-1 win over Bayern in December 2023, scoring his first Bundesliga brace and helping the Eagles end the record champions' unbeaten record.
Plays a bit like: Jude Bellingham
Although a naturally right-sided midfielder, Dina Ebimbe told media upon his Frankfurt unveiling that No.8 is his preferred role. He is also comfortable cutting in off the oppositive flank, with a rangy gait and ability to drive through opposition ranks reminiscent of former Borussia Dortmund and England star Jude Bellingham in attack mode.

A France youth international, Dina Ebimbe has roots in Cameroon and has already been contacted by the Cameroonian Football Association with a view to representing the Indomitable Lions at senior level.
The Frankfurt man only fanned the flames of speculation when he changed his social media profile picture to one of him sporting Cameroon colours, following the Central African nation's qualification for the 2022 World Cup.
