1st – Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title for the first time in the club's history in 2023/24.

3 – Alonso has won three trophies as Leverkusen boss (2023/24 Bundesliga and DFB Cup, plus 2024 Supercup), which is more than the club had ever won before (1992/93 DFB Cup and 1987/88 UEFA Cup).
7 – Die Werkself won a club record seven consecutive away games under Alonso in 2023/24.
9 – Alonso is just the ninth person to win the Bundesliga as both a player and a coach, after Hansi Flick, Niko Kovač, Thomas Schaaf, Matthias Sammer, Franz Beckenbauer, Felix Magath, Jupp Heynckes and Helmut Benthaus.
10 – Leverkusen set a club record of 10 consecutive wins between Matchdays 20 and 29 in 2023/24.

51 - Leverkusen set a new European record for the longest unbeaten sequence by going 51 games without defeat in all competitions (42 wins, nine draws). Their overall record in 2023/24 read 43 wins, nine draws and one loss.
68 – Alonso’s win ratio now stands at 68 percent. Only three permanent coaches (excluding caretakers) have ever had a better tally in Bundesliga history, and all of them were at Bayern: Guardiola (80 percent), Flick (78 percent) and Carlo Ancelotti (73 percent). Alonso contributed to those numbers for Guardiola and Ancelotti as a player.

89 - Alonso's side scored 89 times in their title-winning season - a new club record.
90 - Leverkusens total of 90 points accumulated in their last Bundesliga season was also a club record and the joint-second highest of any team after Bayern's treble winners of 2012/13 (91).
100 - In his 100 competitive matches as Leverkusen coach to date, Alonso has recorded 66 wins, 22 draws (the penalty shootout win against Stuttgart in the Supercup is statistically counted as a draw) and only 12 defeats.
146 - Leverkusen have won 146 points from 66 Bundesliga games under Alonso - more points than any other Bundesliga team across the same period.

2026 – At the start of August 2023, Alonso extended his contract at Leverkusen until 2026.
