Final whistle in Elversberg where the hosts deservedly win 4-2 thanks to a brutal improvement in performance after going behind early on. HSV offered far too little in the second half and will be kicking themselves for missing out on the chance to go top.

Very clever from Elversberg, as they remained offensively active with the man advantage and didn't focus exclusively on defending. That tipped the scales in favour of the home side during stoppage time.

Hamburg are trying to break through, but haven't managed a decisive chance yet. SVE are still pressing high up the pitch.

We're heading into a long period of added time as Kristof is cautioned for time-wasting. This doesn't change the fact that the refereeing team is allowing nine minutes of stoppage time.

Baumgart had just tried to shift the momentum in favour of HSV through substitutions. In the midst of these efforts, SVE scores with the simplest of means to make it 3-1. Baumgart also receives a yellow card. The frustration is understandable.

The match continues with pressing, counter-pressing and a lot of running. Neither team is giving the other any rest, meaning the first few minutes of the second-half have been both frantic and frenetic.

It's half-time at the Kaiserlinde, where Hamburg have managed to squander what was a comfortable-looking lead. The entire HSV defence fell asleep as Asslani gratefully accepted the space and equalised, cancelling out Selke's deserved opener. In the end, the scoreline is a fair reflection of the half.

HSV are longing for the half-time whistle. Elversberg are applying pressure and have just had two corners of their own. The visitors can't get out of their own half.

Elversberg aves been pressing with more urgency and, more importantly, earlier in the last two or three minutes. The HSV defence is increasingly under pressure as a result.

Petkov wins the first corner for Elversberg on the right, but it doesn't amount to anything as Petkov skies follow-up shot. The early goal has somewhat shaken the hosts' confidence. Not much is happening at the moment.

HSV, who are employing a 5-4-1 formation when out of possession, are striving for control of the game, which has settled since the opener. No chances of note at either end in the last few minutes.

Both teams feel each other out for the first three minutes, with the hosts enjoying a good early spell of possession.
