Two new faces for Nuremberg

Sixth time's the charm
Münster forward Charalambos Makridis is still winless against Nuremberg in the Bundesliga 2 (four draws, one defeat).
It's been a while
The two clubs meet for the first time since February 1968, when Nuremberg won 4-0 at home in the DFB Cup round of 16. Nuremberg also won the Bundesliga that season.
Finally reunited
This is the first time since the 1963/64 Bundesliga season that the two clubs have played against each other in the same division.
Old rivalries
Nuremberg and Münster are founding members of the Bundesliga. In 1963/64 the game in Nuremberg finished a 2-2 draw whereas in Münster, the visitors from Franconia won 1-0.
Hildmann on Nuremberg:
"We have the utmost respect for 1. FC Nürnberg. Nürnberg have high expectations, they've set goals for themselves this year and have a new manager in Miro Klose. We are Preußen Münster and we want to approach this humbly, try to give them a run for their money, and if possible, reward ourselves with a victory."
Klose on Münster:
"We've had many discussions during the week, so that we think more offensively and are courageous. The balls need to be delivered into the penalty area, and we want to have plenty of manpower in the box."
