Marlon Ritter simply lets fly from outside the box after Yokota's lay-off - and the ball beats an unsighted Boevink all ends up as it flies low into the right corner of the net.

A corner from Ritter finds no direct takers, but Kleinhansl collects the loose ball, plays it back out to his captain on the right, and the second cross comes through to the six-yard box - where a surging Sirch bundles the ball over the line. 2-0!

Raschl is immediately active, carrying the ball through the centre and shifting it out left to Kleinhansl, who takes a shot from distance, But his effort is deflected wide of the goal for a corner, which comes to nothing.

The home captain takes a direct free-kick from about 35 metres out. His effort brings the fans to their feet - but the ball lands just on top of the net.

Kaiserslautern are becoming more passive again, but carve out a good chance. Right-back Zimmer wins the ball at the halfway line and sends Ritter into the centre. The captain wants to play it back out to the right after a few steps, but gets caught in possession.

A lofted ball pits Curda and Ache in a duel. Both go down, but the referee decides it's a striker's foul - Ache accidentally stepped on the legs of the advancing Curda.

Ache secures the ball on the right and tries to dribble past Brackelmann on the outside - but loses possession. Yokota follows up well, wins the ball back and enters the penalty area against three Paderborn players - but he also loses the ball.

Ache controls a high ball, turns and plays his strike partner in on the left-hand side of the penalty area. Hanslik takes another touch and then shoots from the edge of the box - well wide to the right.

Lautern are pressing higher and have started the second half well. However, a cross from Kleinhansl ends up in the arms of Boevink.

Kleinhansl fouls Curda as the visitors press in Paderborn's half. To prevent the quick taking of the free kick, Kaloč moves the ball away slightly. This is illegal - and he duly receives a booking for it.

Completely out of nowhere, it's 1-0 for the home side! Paderborn are put under pressure and play it back to keeper Boevink. Ache closes him down and Boevink tries to be clever but kicks the ball against his own legs. The rebound falls to Ache, who only has to tap it into the empty net.

Excitement among the home fans: A high long ball is played towards Kaloč, who heads it on behind the defensive line for Ache on the left. The striker takes the ball past the onrushing Paderborn goalkeeper - and is fouled by him in the process. However, the player who set up the move was offside when the pass was made, and the whistle had blown even before Ache went down.

The defensive midfielder loses possession of the ball and has to foul Michel to prevent a quick counter-attack.

The dribble-happy winger takes on two Paderborn opponents, but is stopped by a third - but at least a corner comes out of it. However, the corner finds only the head of Paderborn's Kostons in the centre.

Keeper Krahl plucks a Paderborn corner out of the air and sends Yokota on his way with a long throw. The right winger sprints past the halfway line - but then pulls too hard on his opponent's shirt. Offensive foul.

The hosts are awarded a free kick outside the area on the left, and Sirch craftily sends it directly towards goal while Boevink is still organising his defence. However, the goalkeeper reacts quickly enough and tips it away for a corner. The resulting corner flies over everyone and is blasted well wide of the goal by Yokota.
