Full-time: Dortmund 5-1 Augsburg

A five-star display from BVB as they clinch all three points in style! Most of the work was done in the first half, as two goals from Youssoufa Moukoko and strikes from Donyell Malen and Marco Reus gave them a 4-1 advantage - Ruben Vargas pulled one back for the visitors. The second period was a lot calmer, but Felix Nmecha still managed to find the back of the net and add some extra gloss to the scoreline.

The lay of the land

Dortmund have eased their own concerns over a top-four place - and Champions League qualification - by earning the Bundesliga an extra spot in next year's competition so, for the hosts, it's now about finishing the season as strongly as possible and bidding for UCL glory in the meantime. As for Augsburg, they sit ninth and a point back from seventh going into the weekend, with their own European qualification hopes very much still alive.

Terzić's view on Augsburg

“Their last two games haven’t been as good but I think they’re getting back into their groove. They’ve strengthened their movement patterns. Augsburg were only a really good run of form. They improved their position in the table a great deal in the space of a few short weeks.”

"Dortmund played brilliantly and deservedly won [against PSG]. If we go to Dortmund to park the bus, we may we as well have stayed at home. We've used the week to work on the basics we lacked against Bremen, to focus on our strengths."
