Apart from Kaars' disallowed goal from a corner, the hosts didn't have many clear chances though. Elversberg stood out mainly through counterattacks and put on some pressure towards the end of the half.

Getting comfortable
Elversberg will look to build on last season where they finished in 11th place in their first ever Bundesliga 2 season. They will start this season away from home at Magdeburg who finished three places below them last year, and will be hoping for a big improvement this year.
