Equaliser! Wow!
Of all people Ache scores the equaliser. A great long ball from Ritter finds Opoku, who passes to Ache on the left. He turns with his back to goal and scores via a deflection in his first game of the season.

Hrgota should've ended it
After a great clearance from Noll right into the path of Hrgota, the striker has the chance to end the game but puts it wide from a tight angle.

Ache the danger man?

Fürth dangerous down the left
Asta breaks through down the left and sends in a low cross. Krahl just gets there first. Otherwise a Fürth attacker would have had an easy chance.

Game has calmed down

Goal disallowed

Starting line-up: 1. FC Kaiserslautern
Ache in the squad for the first time
FCK's top young striker Ragnar Ache is in the squad for the Red Devils for the first time since last season. The 26-year-old missed large parts of pre-season due to problems with his Achilles tendon.
New continuity at Lautern?
For only the second time this calendar year, FCK are fielding the same starting eleven in two consecutive Second Division games. The last time this happened was in March, when after a 3-2 home win against Osnabrück there followed a 1-1 draw away at Hannover. The manager back then was still Friedhelm Funkel. Now new manager Markus Anfang seems to be satisfied
Both teams unchanged
Both teams won against promoted sides on the opening matchday, seemingly pleasing their managers: Kaiserslautern go into the game at the Betzenberg with the same starting XI as the one that beat Ulm 2-1, just like Fürth who won 3-1 against Münster.
