CUNHA SHOULD MAKE IT FIVE!
The substitute is played in on goal and takes the ball around Rensing, but can't beat Zimmermann who makes a superb block in front of goal with his chest.

USAMI GOES CLOSE
The Japan international sends a curling shot at goal from distance, but it is always drifting from right to left and drifts too far beyond the post.
68'
LAIMER MAKES IT FOUR
Sabitzer's shot from distance can only be parried back into the mix by Rensing, and Konrad Laimer is on hand to score his first ever Bundesliga goal for RB Leipzig.
64'
ALMOST THE HAT-TRICK FOR POULSEN
Werner sends Sabitzer away and in on goal with Poulsen and a Fortuna defender to his left. He tries to find Poulsen with a pass to the back post, but Rensing tip sends it wide of goal. The resulting corner is cleared but comes back to Leipzig, who give Sabitzer the chance to shoot again, but he curls just wide of goal.

PRESSURE BUILDING UP
Leipzig stand firm after a couple of minutes of pressure there for the home side. Ducksch has a shot blocked by Poulsen which although was heading for goal, was also likely to be saved by Gulacsi.
55'
FORTUNA WELL DRILLED NOW
Leipzig are still controlling most of the possession here, but the home side are defending far better to deal with their pressure. And when they do get the ball, they're producing good attacking moves. Oliver Fink almost has them on the scoreboard, but Kaminski's ball across goal is too quick for him, and Halstenberg can clear.
48'
FORTUNA ON FIRE TO START!
The home side have started well and immediately produce a shot on goal for Lukebakio. Usami nutmegs Konate on the left wing and crosses to the back post. It eventually comes for the on-loan forward, who cuts inside past Halstenberg onto his left and curls at goal, but it drifts agonisingly wide.

ADAMS MAKING HIS MARK
An impressive debut so far from the American, who has won the second-most challenges of any Leipzig player so far. He's also had 30 touches and completed 15 passes.

DÜSSELDORF FINDING THEIR FEET
The home side have been able to brush themselves off and calm this game down after a nightmare start in the opening quarter of an hour. They have been playing the better football in the last five minutes, but Peter Gulacsi's gloves are still dry and remain untested. That will have to change before Fortuna start dreaming of any comebacks.
27'
FIRST CHANCE FOR THE HOME SIDE
Still no shot on goal for Fortuna, but Usami's low cross from the right flank is a teaser, and Klostermann has to clear it from in front of goal.
16'
POULSEN AT THE DOUBLE!
In the 16th minute, Leipzig are three goals ahead and Poulsen has two of them. Halstenberg's pass is perfect for Laimer in the middle of the pitch. He controls at the second attempt and finds Poulsen with a through ball, and the Dane smashes the ball past Rensing at the near post.
12'
WERNER FORCES A SAVE
It really is all Leipzig here to start. Their third shot on target of the game is almost another goal as Werner breaks clear from the defence for a moment in the box, and shoots at goal at the near post. Rensing is able to parry his shot and then have his defence clear the ball.
9'
KONATE THE CENTRE FORWARD?
The French centre-back shows his class in attack as he receives the ball with his back to goal, swivels past a defender and turns to run at goal. He's strong enough to hold off two challenges, and slots the ball home off the inside of the far post. Superb goal from an apparent central defender...
2'
POULSEN SCORES VERY EARLY!
Define goal-mouth scramble... Poulsen is in the right place at the right time after Rensing drops the ball from a cross and the ball bounces around with shots and blocks all over the place. The Dane remained composed when his chance came to slot the ball home for his 9th goal of the season.
