Agonisingly wide!
Frankfurt have barely had a sniff of goal in this game, but almost snatch an opener only for Gacinovic to fire into the side netting from a tight angle.
86'
What's wrong with Timo?
Another forgettable outing comes to an end for Timo Werner. Things just aren't clicking for the German international in 2019.
85'
Substitution
83'
Big chance!
Hasebe fails to cope with the pressure being applied by Werner and gives the ball away on the byline after a slip. Werner looks up, tries to pick out Poulsen, whose first-time effort fails to test Trapp. The Dane wanted a corner, but didn't get it.
81'
Not good enough!
Frankfurt will be happy with a point based on how this game has played out. Their long-ball tactics have not produced the desired result against a disciplined Leipzig backline.

Substitution
77'
Time winding down
Klostermann burns Kostic for pace down the right wing and floats a teasing delivery into the box, which Poulsen can only glance wide.

How did that NOT go in?
Sabitzer has no options available so goes for goal himself from 25 yards. The Austrian's effort hits the post, hit Trapp's back and loops up in the air. Werner is first to the loose ball, but can't get enough purchase to guide the ball towards the gaping goal.
63'
Leipzig looking likelier to score
The hosts have really stepped it up a gear since the break and are neutralsiing Frankfurt whilst posing a greater threat themselves. You get the feeling, one moment is all it will take.
60'
Off the line and just wide!
Leipzig won't quite know how they're no in front. Halstenberg's corner is met by Orban at the front post, but his looping header is cleared off the line by Fernandes. The ball works it way back out to Halstenberg, who picks out Werner with another cross. This time the header is wide of the target.

59'
Timo trying
A half chance almost brings about the opening goal. There looked to be nothing on from a ball over the top, but Werner shows off his hops to get his head to the ball as he glances just wide.
57'
Forlorn frontline
Haller, Rebic and Jovic are all doing their best to drop deep to affect play, but are regularly being forced off the ball by Leipzig's pressing game. Time, space and service are at a premium for the three-pronged threat.
52'
So close!
The hosts go closest to the opener as Halstenberg pops up in the box to send a header just over. Not quite sure what the left-back was doing there, but late runs into the box could be a key to unlocking two stubborn backlines.
50'
Werner into the side netting!
Leipzig push forward down the left with Laimer, who threads the needle to pick out the run of Werner. Gulasci gets a touch to send the toe-poke into the side nettin, but it wouldn't have counted as Werner was in an offside position.

Half-time
45'
Hard-fought first half
Chances have been few and far between in a game between two of the Bundesliga's most dynamic frontlines as Gulasci and Trapp have barely had a thing to do. The first goal will open this game up, the question is whether either side will be able to break the deadlock.
42'
Not firing on all cylinders
Leipzig just can't find the final pass to break Frankfurt down. Sabitzer, Werner and Pouslen have all tried driving or passing their way through only to be thwarted at the last. The hosts haven't quite got their clinical edge up front right now.
35'
Fizzed wide
25 yards out and Marcel Sabitzer chances his arm from range to no avail. The Austrian's effort was slced wide, but is a sign of the frustration starting to creep into Leipzig's game.
33'
Half chance!
With both sides cancelling each other out for the most part from open play, set-pieces are providing a threat. Da Costa's header from the latest was tame and comfortably saved by Gulasci.
31'
Well wide
A corner from Frankfurt is cleared to the edge of the area. Hinteregger lines up a shot, but sends his effort off target. Chances remain at a premium.
27'
Laimer suspended
Leipzig's Laimer is perhaps lucky not to see red after catching Hinteregger high on the stretch. His studs clipped the chin of the Austrian, but he onl picks up a booking, which means he'll miss Leipzig's game against Hoffenheim through suspension.
26'
Decent effort from Kostic
Willi Orban is the first name in the book for a high foot on Jovic. Frankfurt have a free-kick in a promising position, but Kostic's deflected effort is palmed clear by Gulasci and behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.
18'
Happy flagging!
With all the pace in both frontlines, the linesmen are in for a busy afternoon watching the offside lines. Rebic is the latest to mistime his run, but both sides are struggling to break the traps being set.
16'
Hairy moment!
Frankfurt catch Leipzig's backline sleeping as N'Dicka's pass picks out Luka Jovic breaking in behind. The Serbian fails to beat Gulasci one-on-one, but it wouldn't have counted as the offside flag was up.
9'
Jovic on the stretch
A long ball from the back gets behind Leipzig's backline, but the hosts breathe a sigh of relief as the pass floats just beyond the toe of Luka Jovic. He wasn't far from poking that goalwards.
7'
Wide of the target
Stefan Ilsanker peels off Makoto Hasebe at the back post to meet a corner, but can't turn his header on target.
6'
Hosts push forward
Leipzig break at pace for the first time as the ball makes it way out wide to Lukas Klostermann. Unfortunately, his cross is easily cut out at the back when he had plenty of men to pick out in the middle.
2'
Frantic pace!
If the opening exchanges are anything to go by, the pace of proceedings is going to be hard to keep up with. Both sides are moving the ball forward with reckless abandon, but we're still waiting on the first chance.
Kick-off!
