DORTMUND WIN, BUT DROP TO SECOND
A bittersweet victory for Dortmund as the players celebrate with the Yellow Wall in the pouring Dortmund rain. The result in Munich means Dortmund drop to second behind Bayern on goal difference. Marco Reus applauds the entire Signal Iduna Park stadium, despite the rain pouring, alongside Axel Witsel. They will need further inspiration from their fans if they want to end the season top of the table.

BACK UNDERWAY
We're back for the second half and the rain appears to have slowed down slightly. Will the goals begin to flow instead?

CAPTAIN AMERICA!
Christian Pulisic adds another onto the tally for Dortmund, which could prove vital in the title race. Witsel does superbly to beat three defenders down the left wing before playing the ball inside to Götze and into the box. He then finds Pulisic, who clips it home with his left foot past Zieler.

KABAK GOES CLOSE!
Again Dortmund struggle to clear from a set-piece and the ball is then swung into the box once again, and Kabak heads towards goal with a glancing effort. The ball drifts agonisingly wide of Bürki's goal.
84'
ALCACER DOES IT!
A scramble in the box but Dortmund don't care. Sancho dinks a cross into the box, the ball falls to Reus and his shot is blocked but falls to Pulisic. The substitute beats one player with a dribble in the tightest space, and finds Alcacer, who then smashes home into the top corner beyond Zieler.

DORTMUND LACKING SPEED IN THEIR BUILD-UP
It's all a bit lacklustre still from Dortmund in attack, with the ball often being held up and not flying towards the Stuttgart defence as it should be. On the other hand, Stuttgart are looking to counter whenever possible and are making the home defence nervous when they do.

DORTMUND PILING ON THE PRESSURE
Alcacer has a free-kick well saved by Zieler as Dortmund continue to search for another go-ahead goal. It really is all in the Stuttgart half now, with just over 10 minutes to play.

STUTTGART ANSWER WITH A BANG!
With their first chance on goal in the second half, Stuttgart have drawn level. A free-kick swung in from the left by Castro is headed home by Kempf with incredible power. No chance for Bürki, who is furious with his defence.

ZIELER BEATS ALCACER!
What a chance for the home side as Alcacer is played in on goal. He looks to chip the ball over the oncoming Zieler but the German stands tall and jumps high to beat the ball away with a fantastic piece of goalkeeping.

DORTMUND REMAIN TOP AS IT STANDS
Remarkably, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich currently have the same exact same amount of points, have scored the same number of goals and conceded the same number. Meaning that Dortmund are top of the league by virtue of the two clubs' head-to-head record.
60'
REUS SMASHES IT HOME!
Could that be one of the most vital goals in this Bundesliga title race? Reus does the business and smashes home from the spot beyond the reach of Zieler and Dortmund lead. His 14th goal of the season so far.

PENALTY DORTMUND!
Sancho is brought down and it's initially given as a free-kick, but a check with VAR shows it was inside the box.
55'
GUERREIRO SLICES WIDE!
Lovely play from Dortmund as Hakimi plays a long ball inside to Reus, who is galloping towards the Stuttgart box. He plays the ball to the edge of the box and Guerreiro who is racing to meet it, but his clipped strike drifts high over the Stuttgart goal.

DORTMUND FRUSTRATED
Again starting the better of the two sides, Dortmund haven't quite found their groove still in this game. Sancho, Reus and Götze all looking to get involved but Stuttgart's defence is incredibly well drilled.

ALL DORTMUND, BUT STUTTGART STANDING FIRM
It's been a dominant first half from the home side, but once again they are struggling to hit the target in the Bundesliga. Stuttgart's defence is playing very deep, not allowing the home side to utilise the pace of Sancho, Hakimi and Guerreiro on the wings. Instead, Götze has been the star so far with his intracete passes, but still no goal. As it stands, Bayern Munich are going top of the Bundesliga!
42'
GUERREIRO HAS A GO!
Dortmund now taking more shots from distance and this time it's Guerreiro. He shoots from 25 yards and it dips in front of Zieler, who somehow manages to save the shot and make sure it goes over the crossbar. Some luck involved with the ball skidding off the wet surface.
37'
SANCHO FORCES A SAVE
Taking aim from the edge of the box, Sancho forces a diving save from Zieler. Dortmund still dominating this game without finding the net.
31'
WOW! GONZALEZ SO CLOSE!
A super pass from Zuber goes through the Dortmund defence to Gonzalez charging at goal. He flicks the ball past Bürki, but it dribbles - almost in slow-motion - just past the post, much to the delight of the Dortmund defence.
26'
GÖTZE THE CONDUCTOR SO FAR
The midfielder is in great form so far, providing several dangerous passes through the Stuttgart midfield and defence. He looks back to his best right now, and he's the dangerman at the moment.
19'
TWO SHOTS BLOCKED!
Another outstanding pass from Götze plays through the Stuttgart midfield and finds Reus. He immediately flicks the ball towards Alcacer and gets it back from the Spaniard before shooting at goal, only to see his effort blocked. The ball comes back to Witsel and the Belgian beats a couple of players before shooting himself, only for his effort to be blocked as well. Heroic Stuttgart defending!

BIBLICAL LEVELS OF RAIN
The heavens have truly opened in Dortmund and the pitch is beginning to see the impact of the rain. The ball is skiding along the pitch with an extra zip, which the players will have to get used to if this weather continues.
15'
WITSEL DOWN
The Belgian is down with an injury to his foot, he's receiving treatement but it looks as if he'll be able to continue.
12'
ALCACER SHOULD DO BETTER
An incredible cross from Götze to the near post finds Alcacer just behind Pavard. He should go for goal with a first-time strike, but instead looks to take a touch, which lets the ball slip away from his control and is cleared away by the Stuttgart defence.
10'
DORTMUND CAMPED IN THE STUTTGART HALF
The away side have done well so far to keep Dortmund mainly away from goal, but the home side is in total control of the ball and working patiently for openings. Sancho and Hakimi look lively already down either wing, with the Morrocan full-back in what now feels like his preferred left-back position.
6'
ZUBER SHOOTS HIGH AND WIDE
The in-form Stuttgart man cuts inside from the left wing but can't control his shot on goal. The first of the day for the away side, and a sign that they won't be easy to beat for Dortmund today.
5'
CONFIDENT START FROM BVB
The home side are getting on the ball and looking to bring it forward straight away. One thing they've lacked in recent weeks is movement in attack, but they are getting it in abundance so far with Witsel the only midfielder sitting deep.

HERE. WE. GO!
We're underway in Dortmund with the home side kicking towards the Yellow Wall in this first half. The rain is pouring down here in Dortmund adding another subplot to this game.
Kick-off!
GÖTZE FEELING AT HOME
The Dortmund forward has scored in three consecutive league games at the Signal Iduna Park. Four would be a personal record for him, and great news for BVB...
AKANJI-DIALLO REUNITED
For the first time since the 1-2 defeat to Fortuna Düsseldorf, Manuel Akanji and Abdou Diallo start together in the middle of the Dortmund defence. A long overdue return for the pair, who have also had to deal with other injuries with Diallo often playing at left-back so far in 2019.
HERO GOMEZ AGAIN?
Last time Stuttgart beat Dortmund in Dortmund, it was Mario Gomez who scored the only goal of the game. Way back in February 2007, Gomez started that game, but today he'll have to produce heroics from the bench if he is going to be able to help his team.
ONE DORTMUND CHANGE
It's almost the same Dortmund line-up that took to the Signal Iduna Park pitch on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League against Tottenham Hotspur. Julian Weigl is ill, and replaced by Achraf Hakimi. Thomas Delaney remains on the bench, with both Mario Götze and Paco Alcacer starting. Captain Marco Reus also retains his place, alongside Jadon Sancho and Raphael Guerreiro making up a five-man attack.
