LETS GET THE SHOW ON THE ROAD

Just minutes away from kick-off now as Bayern look to return to the top of the Bundesliga table on goal difference ahead of Dortmund.

REBIC SCORES BUT HE'S OFFSIDE

Haller flicks the ball over the Nuremberg defence for Rebic to chase, but the Croatian is offside when the ball is played and his neat finish counts for nothing.
86'

KOSTIC OFF WITH A KNOCK

The Serbian wing-back will be hoping it's nothing serious as he prepares to face Germany next win in an international friendly.
83'

MAGIC FROM TRAPP AGAIN!

Thel ball is played to Behrens in the box with his back to goal, and he finds a way to turn and shoot on his left foot, but Trapp produces a stunning left-handed save low to his left to keep Frankfurt ahead.
82'

TYPICAL FRANKFURT

A famous Frankfurt long ball to Haller comes from Hinteregger, and the Frenchman flicks it on for Rebic to run on to. But he can't get his shot on target from inside the box...
78'

HUGE SAVE FROM TRAPP

A scrap in the Frnakfurt box and Hasebe fails to clear the ball, allowing it to fall to Knöll who shoots at goal and forces a stunning diving save from Trapp. But Bibiana Steinhaus gives an offside in the build-up.

KOSTIC FIRES WIDE

Da Costa finds the wing-back wide open on the left corner of the Nuremberg box, and he sets him up for a shot at goal. The Serb can't find the target though, dragging his shot across the face of goal. Frankfurt remaining in general control of this game, and don't look like conceding. Ante Rebic is about to come on for the Eagles.
64'

HALLER ALMOST WITH HIS FIRST TOUCH!

Ewerton makes a superb block with his face as Haller looks certain to score with his first touch. He is waiting in the box as the ball is put back into the box from the back post by Gacinovic, but he can't find the back of the net.
63'

ON COMES HALLER

He scored twice in injury time after coming on from the bench last time out against Fortuna Düsseldorf, can he do the same today against Nuremberg?
58'

PACIENCIA HITS THE BAR!

The woodwork has been rattled for a second time in the game as da Costa's cross loops into the box and the striker heads towards goal, but it bounces down off the crossbar, on the line, and back out before being cleared. Can't get much closer than that to scoring...
54'

KUBO WITH A BIG CHANCE!

Löwen sends Kerk in behind the Frankfurt defence down the left wing, and he picks out Kubo on the edge of the Frankfurt box superbly. A first-time strike at goal, but one he'll be disappointed about as he sends the ball over Trapp's crossbar.
47'

BACK UNDERWAY

No changes at the break from either side as the second half gets back underway.
Kick-off!
Half-time
45'

DESERVED HALF-TIME LEAD

They didn't create an endless number of chances, but a late surge on the Nuremberg goal to end the half was enough for Frankfurt to take the lead. Dominant throughout, Adi Hütter's side took a little longer than usual to kick into gear. With Rebic and Haller waiting in the wings, options are certainly there if Frankfurt want more goals.
36'

PACIENCIA SCORES, BUT HE'S OFFSIDE

Superb counter from Frankfurt which ends with Gacinovic finding Kostic in the box and he smashes the crossbar. The rebound comes to Toure, who shoots at goal and finds Paciencia at the back post to tap the ball over the line, but the forward is offside when he does so.
31'

STUNNING GOAL

Luka Jovic produces the pass of a world-class playmaker to find Kostic running in down the left wing, and he sends a first-time cross low into the box for Hinteregger to tap home. Perfect goal from the home side.
22'

SLOW START, BUT FRANKFURT STILL RULING

Kevin Trapp hasn't seen the ball in his penalty area since the opening minutes. But while his side are certainly in control of the game, very few genuine chances on goal have been produced so far. As always, Kostic and Da Costa are heavily involved on either flank but for now the Nuremberg defence is doing it's job well.
14'

PACIENCIA FLUFFS HIS CHANCE

Kostic's cross is deflected and loops to the back post and the unmarked Portuguese forward. But he misses the ball completely having gone for goal with a volley, and the away side can clear.
11'

FRANKFURT ON TOP

The home side have their visitors camped in their own half now, and have done since Behrens' chance to start the game. Mathenia is untested so far, but plenty of attacking promise, as you'd expect, from the in-form Eagles.
3'

BEHRENS SHOULD SCORE!

What a chance to start the game for the away side. Kerk whips in an outstanding cross and captain Behrens is alone to rise and head the ball at goal, but he can't keep his effort on target.

UNDERWAY IN FRANKFURT

The second of our triple-header is underway, with Nuremberg and Frankfurt going head-to-head at the home of the Eagles.
Kick-off!

MINUTES FROM KICK-OFF!

After their heroics against Inter Milan during the week in the Europa League, the home support are sure to give their side a warm welcome today. But will relegation-fighting Nuremberg spoil the homecoming?

HALLER AND REBIC ON THE BENCH

Two parts of Frankfurt's magic attacking trio is on the bench for Frankfurt today. Ante Rebic returning from injury is a positive sign for the Eagles, while it would appear that Sebastien Haller is being rested. Luka Jovic is the last-man standing, but is joined by Paciencia in attack.
