FULL-TIME VERDICT

A game of counter-attacks was won by the most clinical team, as Filip Kostic's first Bundesliga brace was added to by the 16th goal of the season for Luka Jovic. Frankfurt now leapfrog Borussia Mönchengladbach into fourth spot, while Stuttgart are still looking for a way out of the precarious relegation play-off spot.

JOVIC SEALS THE DEAL!

Da Costa wins the ball outside the Stuttgart box and finds de Guzman, who returns the ball to the wing back. He then plays it low across the face of goal and Jovic is perfectly placed to smash it home to make it 3-0 to the Eagles.

STILL AN OPEN GAME

The way this game is going has not changed at all as we reach the hour mark of the game. Stuttgart are pressing well and pushing forward with every opportunity, we'll surely be seeing Mario Gomez come off from the bench before too long. You never know how long you can keep Jovic, Haller and Rebic from scoring...

ESSWEIN ON THE COUNTER

We know all about the on-loan Hertha forward's pace as he breaks away and charges towards Hasebe. He takes the ball to the side of the Frankfurt defender and shoots at Trapp, but the German international is equal to it.

STUTTGART SHOWING NO FEAR

This has been a very impressive first half display from Markus Wienzierl's side. They have had most of the possession and shots on goal, with Kabak once again going close with a shot on the turn from the edge of the box. Rebic, Haller and Jovic have been kept very quiet so far.
33'

GENTNER DOWN

The Stuttgart captain has started superbly today, but it looks like he won't be able to continue here. Daniel Didavi is getting himself ready on the bench.

SUPERB FROM ZIELER

Jovic's control on a pass is poor and he's forced to stretch in an attempt to reach it. Zieler beats him to it, but the ball runs loose for Rode to strike at goal. He does so, but Zieler is somehow already up and able to parry the ball away.

STUTTGART FINDING OPENINGS

The away side are creating plenty of opportunities in this first half, but have not made Trapp work too hard early on. However, the Frankfurt defence is being tested more than they have been by anyone else in recent weeks.

JOVIC'S PASS LETS KOSTIC DOWN

The Eagles fly forward with a 4-on-2 counter-attack led by Jovic, but his pass into space ahead of Kostic is too heavy and Zieler does well to come out and collect it ahead of the Serbian wing-back.

EVEN STEVENS SO FAR

Both sides showing quality on the ball and bringing it forward so far. Kabak brings the ball out of defence and shoots, but drags his effort wide. Trapp had a save to make a few minutes ago but it was a comfortable one. Stuttgart have started slightly the better.

OFF THE BAR!

A corner swings into the Frankfurt box and Kempf rises highest to meet it on the six-yard box, beating Haller to the ball, but the crossbar beats his effort away as he comes as close as anyone to scoring so far.

JOVIC GOES CLOSE!

The Serbian collects Haller's pass into the box before dribbling through two defenders and shooting at goal. A deflection stops it going on target, as the first chance of the game goes the way of the home side.

PRESSURE ON STUTTGART

After Nuremberg's win yesterday, the pressure in on Stuttgart to go back into a big lead from the 17th-placed side. Stuttgart, currently sitting in the relegation play-off spot, could go within two points of Augbsurg with a win today.
