The home fans are creating some noise here in the final five minutes as Dortmund look set to secure victory.
80'
HAZARD SO CLOSE TO ANOTHER
A wonderful flick from the Belgian is matched by another to return the favour from Hakimi and send Hazard on his way. He races towards goal and opens space for a shot, but drags his effort just wide of the mark.

ARNOLD GOES CLOSE
The ball bounces down to the edge of the box after a challenge in the air between Weghorst and Hummels and Arnold is the first to it. He goes for a volley on his left foot but sends the ball narrowly wide of the target.
71'
CHANGING THE GAME...
Dortmund took just one shot at the Wolfsburg goal from inside their half in the first half. In the second half so far seven shots have been taken by the home side from inside the away side's box.

CHANCES GALORE
Fluid from Dortmund again as Hakimi is sent away down the right by Brandt. His effort is blocked at the near post by Pervan but the play continues and the ball eventually falls to Dahoud in front of goal. His shot is superbly saved by Pervan, though, when the home side should really have been celebrating their third goal of the day.

WOLFSBURG LOOKING FOR THE COUNTER
It's tough going for Gladbach here, as you'd expect, but the Wolves are still looking to create on the counter-attack. The Dortmund defence is standing firm for now and making sure that the home side look most likely to score next again here.
58'
DORTMUND DOUBLE THE LEAD
It's an assist for Hazard - his sixth of the season - as he plays the ball to his left to meet the overlapping run of Raphael Guerreiro into the box. He has time and space to fire across goal and find the bottom corner in style.
56'
DORTMUND CLOSE TO ANOTHER
Hakimi doesn't give up on a ball on the left wing and keeps it in play before charging into the box. He breezes past one defender and fires at the near post, but it bounces back out into play. Götze collects and lays off Weigl whose shot is also blocked. The home support roar their side on with things going their way now.
52'
SOMETIMES IT'S THAT SIMPLE
A long ball forward is headed down by Brooks and picked up in the middle by Hakimi. The winger finds Hazard with a perfect pass to the left corner of the box. He cuts onto his right foot and sends Pervan the wrong way with a shot into the left bottom corner for his first Bundesliga goal for Dortmund.
51'
WOLFSBURG PRESSING
The away side have changed things up in this second half and are pressnig Dortmund high up the pitch. So far, it's working well with BVB yet to adjust.
48'
GUERREIRO FIRES WIDE
A great break from Dortmund as Götze powers forward with the ball through the middle. Brooks tackles, but it comes out to Hakimi who has the awareness to find Guerreiro on the left side of the box. The full-back slices his shot high and wide into the Yellow Wall.
46'
BACK UNDERWAY
Defence has won the day so far with chances few and far between these sides, but will the game open up as both sides go in search of all three points? There's also plenty of support on the bench for both sides...

BROOKS AND BRUMA COMBINE
Wolfsburg are inches from going ahead before the break as Brooks meets a short corner and flicks the ball to the back post. His defensive partner is at the back post to meet it but isn't quick enough to steer it into the back of the net.

BROOKS BOOKED
A fiesty end to this first half which sees John Brooks booked for a challenge through the back of Götze. A rare mistake from the American-German in an otherwise flawless first half.
45'
ADDED TIME!
We'll have five minutes of added time here in Dortmund.
41'
ARNOLD FIRES OVER
A rare move forward from Wolfsburg as Joao Victor finds Arnold on the edge, but the midfielder blazes his striker over the Dortmund goal.
37'
DEFENCE WINNING THE DAY
The home side are on top here with possession on their side, but Wolfsburg's defence is proving a tough one to break down. Brandt and Götze being forced to drop into midfield to collect the ball but so far, it's not working for Favre and his side.
28'
REFEREE CHANGE
Tobias Welz is unable to continue as the referee here and therefore the fourth official will come on in his place.
28'
REUS UNABLE TO CONTINUE
The BVB captain comes off and is replaced by Mario Götze here in the first half. A big blow to the home side.

NMECHA HITS THE BAR
A perfect break for the forward as the ball runs into the Dortmund box from Weghorst. He reaches it ahead of Hitz and dinks the ball over the Swiss shot-stopper, but it bounces out off the crossbar.
21'
ON THE BALL...
Wolfsburg enjoying 48 per cent of possession so far in Dortmund, a total which holds no shame when facing Dortmund and the Yellow Wall. The majority of that possession remains to be in WOlfsburg's own half.
19'
REUS LIMPING...
The Dortmund captain is just taking some treatment to his left foot after a knock earlier in the game.
15'
WEIGL SHOOTS WIDE
Dortmund break well with Reus and Brandt once again at the heart of it. The ball falls loose for Reus to meet on the edge but Roussillon produces an outstanding block to deny him. Dortmund recover and recycle the ball to the edge where Weigl is waiting, but the defensive midfield curls the ball wide with his shot.
12'
BRANDT-REUS WORKING WELL
The pair of Germany internationals have started this game very well and link-up again to win Dortmund their second corner of the game so far. It ends with a shot over the bar from Hakimi, but BVB are keeping this game intense in terms of pressing and attacking intent.
8'
WOLVES HAPPY ON THE BALL
While the away side are comfortable in possession in their own defence, they have been unable to keep possession for a long period while in the home side's half. Dortmund defending well so far and playing the way they want to so far in an open game.
4'
DORTMUND LIVELY
The home side starting well in the opening minutes with some fast passing play around the Wolfsburg box. Hakimi, Brandt and Reus finding each other well while Wolfsburg look to get the ball and keep it when possible.

UNDERWAY IN DORTMUND
A nippy day in Dortmund as winter approaches in Germany. Wolfsburg in a changed strip of light blue for this away trip as we get things underway.
Kick-off!
HERE WE GO!
The players are making their way out to the pitch in front of a packed Signal Iduna Park, as usual. This should be a fun one with two of the Bundesliga's best teams so far this season going head-to-head.
A REPEAT OF LAST YEAR?
The fixture played between these two sides in Dortmund last season produced one of the most dramatic games of the 2018/19 campaign. Paco Alcacer came off the bench and scored twice in injury time to secure all three points for the home side, the first goal being a free-kick from the edge of the Wolfsburg box. Both sides will be looking to secure a simpler result this time around.
A CHANCE TO GO TOP...
As it seems to be with every weekend this season, several teams have the chance to go top of the Bundesliga this afternoon: including these two. Wolfsburg currently sit two points off Gladbach in the lead, with BVB a further point behind. Any one of five teams in the top six - with Hoffenheim having played yesterday evening - can finish today top of the pile.
NMECHA STARTS
The Manchester City loanee makes his first start in the Bundesliga today, partnering Joao Victor and Wout Weghorst in Wolfsburg's attack. Meanwhile it's as you'd expect with the Bundesliga's best defence staying the same, and the midfield looking as strong as ever.
FAVRE ROTATING
After the dramatic DFB Cup win over Borussia Mönchengladbach in midweek, Lucien Favre has changed things up with his team, with some players due a rest. Both Axel Witsel and Jadon Sancho will start today from the bench, as well as Thomas Delaney, Paco Alcacer and Mario Götze. It means that Julian Weigl and Mahmoud anchor the midfield with Julian Brandt leading the line again, as he did on Wednesday night.
