ALL FRANKFURT

The home side cannot be faulted for effort and are peppering the Hertha box with crosses and shots. Kraft does well to get a hand to a Kostic effort, with Da Costa firing into the side netting on the rebound.
81'

FRESH LEGS FOR HERTHA

The visitors have collectively run over a mile more than their hosts, so head coach Klinsmann has made a double substitution as they look to see the result over the line.
79'

OVER FROM KAMADA!

Kamada finds himself in space just outside the Hertha area and tries his luck. He scored twice from similar positions against Arsenal in the Europa League last week, but this effort sails well over the bar.
76'

BIG SAVE FROM KRAFT!

Da Costa cuts in from the right and has time and space to pick out a shot from just inside the Hertha box, but Kraft reacts well and pulls off a diving save to preserve his side's lead.
74'

JUST WIDE FROM TOURE AGAIN!

The Frankfurt defender spreads the ball out to the right wing to Da Costa before continuing his run into the box. He meets his cross at the near post, but his looping header bounces just wide of the far post.
72'

WATCH OUT FOR HINTI!

The Frankfurt centre-back now has five Bundesliga goals this season, making him the league's highest-scoring defender. Four of those have come from corners, which is also a league best this term.
68'

WIDE FROM SILVA!

Kamada does really well to dig out a cross from the right and it loops towards Silva at the back post. He's got the unmarked Kostic just behind him, begging for a knock-down, but Silva doesn't see him and heads wide!

HERTHA SOLID

Frankfurt are trying their best to find a way back into this game, regularly finding Da Costa and Kostic on the flanks as they look for space, but so far the visitors have managed to repel everything.

FRANKFURT FRUSTRATED

There have been lots of niggly little fouls in the last few minutes, which isn't really helping the Eagles' cause as it's interrupting their flow as they look for an equaliser.

EARLY CHANGE FOR HERTHA

Duda is taken off, presumably as a precaution because he was on a yellow card and treading thin ice after fouling Kostic just now. Löwen comes on his in place.
47'

FRANKFURT BETTER, HERTHA AHEAD

The hosts will most likely be feeling frustrated at being behind as they have been the better side by a considerable distance. They've had more possession (53.5 per cent), crosses (10 to 2) and shots (9 to 5), but are behind in the only metric that really counts: the scoreline.

GRUJIC SHOOTS OVER

A good, driving run from Duda helps Hertha make headway in midfield and he gets to the edge of the Frankfurt box. His attempted pass wide is cut out, but the rebound falls kindly for Grujic, who doesn't hesitate before shooting. His left-footed drive is well struck, but goes harmlessly over.
43'

LOVELY FROM KAMADA

This is a lovely goal and no less than Frankfurt deserve. Kostic finds space down the left and pulls a low ball back across the penalty box. Paciencia dummies it for the onrushing Kamada, who sidefoots it home!
34'

HOME FROM HOME FOR LUKEBAKIO

The Belgian seems to enjoy playing on the road: 3 of his 4 Bundesliga goals for Hertha have come in away games, as have 10 of his 14 overall.

LUKEBAKIO FIRES HERTHA IN FRONT!

This is very much against the run of play, but Hertha take the lead. Grujic flicks a ball from the left into the path of Lukebakio, whose pace takes him away from his marker, before slotting past Rönnow!

CHANCE FOR... HINTEREGGER?

27'

WIDE FROM SILVA

Da Costa's sweeping cross from the right goes all the way through to Kostic on the left, who plays a first-time ball back into the middle, where he finds Silva. The Portuguese takes it on the volley, but his deft touch floats wide of the far post. It was a nicely taken effort though.
23'

STARK BOOKED

A Hertha attack on the left breaks down and suddenly Frankfurt are on the charge forward. The ball comes to Silva, who takes a touch and wants to free Kostic into space down the left, but he's bundled over by Stark, who sees a yellow card for his trouble for a rather blatant tactical foul.
22'

HOSTS ON TOP

Hertha are yet to test Rönnow in the Frankfurt goal, whereas the hosts have already had five shots.
21'

CLOSE FROM SILVA!

19'

VITAL INTERCEPTION FROM REKIK!

Kostic plays a brilliant one-two on the left with Kamada and scurries into the box. He's looking for Paciencia in the middle for what would be a simple tap-in, but Rekik anticipates the danger and clears for a corner.
17'

POWERFUL RUN FROM STARK

The Hertha defender takes attacking matters into his own hands as he surges forward past Kamada and into the box. His momentum takes him past Hinteregger, but his attempted cross from the byline is blocked for a corner. Impressive stuff from the Germany international.
14'

KAMADA TESTS KRAFT

Frankfurt reply in kind almost instantly, as Kamada finds a pocket of space in the left-hand side of the Hertha box. He jinks inside onto his stronger right foot and shoots low towards the front post, but Kraft sees it all the way and makes a routine save.
13'

CHANCE FOR SELKE!

Duda wriggles his way past a couple of players inside the Frankfurt box, with the defenders standing off him to avoid giving away a penalty. Duda dinks a cross to the back post to Selke, who's completely unmarked. He takes a touch to settle himself before slotting it... wide of the far post! It's a bad miss, but a goal wouldn't have counted anyway as the linesman raises his flag for offside.
9'

CAUTION FOR DUDA

The Hertha playmaker is the first player to go into the referee's notebook today for a late challenge that leaves Hinteregger clutching his shin. He's ok to continue though.
7'

KOSTIC GETTING HIS EYE IN

Frankfurt left-winger Filip Kostic has tried a couple of speculative crosses from the left so far, aiming for the space between the goalkeeper and the defence. They've been dealt with well so far, but Kostic usually needs one or two efforts to find his range - and is usually decisive after that.
4'

HIGH PRESS FROM FRANKFURT

Paciencia has been quick to chase down Hertha goalkeeper Stark whenever he's had the ball so far, forcing him to punt it long. Eintracht's beefy midfielders and defenders have been winning the first balls, so the visitors can't really make any inroads going forward yet.
2'

FURIOUS OPENING

Neither team is holding back in the early exchanges here, with a number of hefty challenges already going in. They're both trying to get forward as quickly as possible and there's a glimpse of an opening for Paciencia, who finds space down the left, but he wants too much tme to pick out a cross into the middle and ends up being tackled.

A PUNT ON DAICHI?

You’ve still got time to make changes to your Fantasy Manager teams for this weekend, and if you’re still unsure who to bring in then we’ve got a little tip from this game in Frankfurt attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada. Only three per cent of Fantasy teams feature the Japanese playmaker but he’s a snip at just 6.8M, has registered at least 10 points in three games this season and bagged a match-winning brace away at Arsenal just eight days ago. Think about it…

KLINSI MAKES HIS MARK

New Hertha boss Jürgen Klinsmann will have been impressed with large parts of his side’s performance in the 2-1 loss at home to Dortmund in his debut game. however, he has made three changes, all coming in midfield. There are new wing-backs in Lukas Klünter and Marvin Plattenhardt in place of Marius Wolf and Maximilian Mittelstädt, while Ondrej Duda is also given a chance to impress after not featuring at all in November.

CHANCE FOR SILVA

A groin injury to Mijat Gacinovic has opened the door for Portugal forward Andre Silva to make his first Bundesliga start since the 2-2 draw with Bremen on Matchday 7. The 24-year-old has three goals and one assist in seven league appearances so far. Elsewhere, Gelson Fernandes returns to midfield in place of the suspended Dominik Kohr.

HERTHA ON TOP

This is the 63rd Bundesliga meetings between these two teams. Hertha have by far the better record overall, with 29 wins to Frankfurt's 16, with 17 draws. The visitors from Berlin are even unbeaten in their last five league trips to the Commerzbank-Arena (W1, D4).

OVERDUE WIN FOR FRANKFURT?

The Eagles have lost their last three Bundesliga outings, so wil lbe more determined than ever to return to winning ways here. It's been a rare week without a midweek fixture for them - even if they did play in Mainz on Monday - so fatigue should not be an issue for the hosts here.
