HAALAND SAYS HELLO TO THE BUNDESLIGA
Dortmund's new signing becomes the seventh player in Bundesliga history to score a hat-trick on his Bundesliga debut. The last to do so was also the man wearing No.17 for Dortmund, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He came on the pitch at 3-1 and leaves it at 3-5.

TIME TICKING DOWN
We're approaching the end of the game here with Dortmund going for more and more goals. Could we see more in the final minutes with a large amount of injury time? As if we'd need more drama from this game.

GAME-CHANGER
Haaland proving himself to be exactly the problem solver Dortmund were hoping for. He's had three shots, all on target, all finding the back of the net. From 1-3 down to 5-3 up, this has been one of the most remarkable games of the Bundesliga season so far.

ERLING BRAUT HAALAND.
He has scored 20-minute second half hat-trick and turned this game on its head almost singlehandedly. Marco Reus' through ball sends him away at goal. He almost loses the ball under his feet, but slots it past Koubek on his favoured left-foot with another lovely finish before racing towards the away support.

ANY MORE DRAMA?
Over 10 minutes to go here in Augsburg and both sides still going for goal. Haaland is on a hat-trick and looks hungry for it, and what a story that would be.

HAALAND PUTS DORTMUND IN FRONT!
What an incredible turnaround Dortmund have completed here. Three goals in 11 minutes since Haaland has come on, and he gets his second to put Dortmund ahead for the first time today. Hazard is played in by Witsel and beats the offside trap. He takes the ball around Koubek and plays it across to Haaland and he taps home with ease.

REUS FIRES OVER... AGAIN!
Outstanding play once again from Sancho as he races onto a long ball down the right from Brandt. The winger cuts inside past a defender and lays the ball off for Reus who is in front of goal in the middle of the box, but the captain is leaning back and sends his effort high over the crossbar. He could have a hat-trick.
64'
DORTMUND ON A ROLL NOW
All things are clicking into gear in attack for Dortmund as Sancho finds Hazard outside the box. His shot from distance forces an awkward save from Koubek and the Augsburg defence looks worried here as the pressure piles on.
61'
THIS IS INCREDIBLE!
We're level with two goals in as many minutes for Dortmund. Unbelievable. An outstanding long ball from Hummels meets Sancho's run and the Englishman brings the ball down superbly, taking the ball past Koubek and then slotting it into the empty net. He shakes his hands off in celebration at the skill involved and this game has been totally changed.
59'
WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT!?
Jadon Sancho plays Erling Haaland in on goal and the striker slots the ball home with his second touch in the Bundesliga, a lovely left-footed finish across Koubek and in off the far post. This game is still very much alive, folks.
56'
HERE COMES HAALAND
The new signing is on for his Bundesliga debut with Dortmund needing a big comeback to get a point here in Augsburg. Looks as if Hakimi is dropping to right-back and Guerreiro at left-back as Dortmund revert to a four-man defence.

NIEDERLECHNER AT THE DOUBLE
All too easy for Augsburg as they counter at pace. Richter brings it forward and finds Vargas on the left. He plays Max the ball into the box on the overlap and the wing-back cuts the ball into the box for Niederlechner to poke home into the empty net.
52'
WE HAVE A GAME ON OUR HANDS
Five minutes into the second half and the lead may not have changed, but the complexion of the game certainly has. Moments after Richter's stunner and Brandt's brilliant turn and finish has Dortmund back in it and in the ascendancy. The home side are continuing to cause problems to the visiting defence, though, with their superior pace and pressing efforts causing some unforced errors.
49'
BRILLIANT BRANDT!
Hazard finds Brandt in the smallest of spaces in the Augsburg box. The German turns beautifully past a defender to create more space for a shot on his left foot, firing the ball into the net off the inside of the post. A great goal to bring Dortmund immediately back into this game.
46'
WHAT A GOAL FROM RICHTER!
The Augsburg forward collects the ball 30 yards from goal and fires at goal. Bürki only watches as the ball drifts past him and into the top corner of the Dortmund net. What a start to the second half, less than a minute into the second half.

A GAME OF A CHANCE TAKEN
The previous entry in our live coverage of this game tells you all you need to know about the first half. Twice Reus had his head in his hands in the opening 45 minutes, while Florian Niederlechner had his hands in the air with only one of his shots needed to find the back of the Dortmund net. Dortmund may have had more of the ball, but Augsburg have out-run and out-sprinted their visitors so far. How long until we see Erling Haaland?

STORY OF THE DAY SO FAR
Both sides have had four attempts off target, both have had one on target. Augsburg have taken their's, Dortmund have not. Despite dominating the ball it's Dortmund who are behind here and the home side are defending well to keep that lead intact going into the break.
38'
SNOW IS FALLING
The heavens have opened in Augsburg and it's snow that is falling down at the WWK-Arena here. We might be out of the winter break, but clearly the winter weather is far from leaving certain parts of Germany.
34'
AUGSBURG GO AHEAD!
The home side are ahead and it's against the run of play. Dortmund's build-up playing attempts come unstuck for the first time and Vargas runs away with the ball down the left wing. Piszczek can't catch him as he enters the Dortmund box before playing the ball into the middle for Niederlechner to tap home beyond Bürki. Snatch-and-grab from the home side!
29'
REUS WITH ANOTHER BIG MISS!
The Dortmund captain can't believe he's missed himself. More lovely attacking movement from Dortmund with Witsel this time making the run in behind down the right. He enters the box and pulls the ball back into the middle where Reus and Sancho are waiting. Reus takes the chance, but it bounces off his shin and goes wide at the near post. Dortmund will need to take one of these many chances before the home side punishes them for it.
27'
SANCHO GOES CLOSE
The Englishman with his first look at goal today as he races towards the Augsburg defence, cutting onto his right foot from the edge of the box and lacing a shot at goal. It drifts over the Augsburg goal, though, and Sancho has his head in his hands.
22'
GOOOO... NO!
Augsburg have the ball in the Dortmund net but it's offside as Niederlechner was played in behind the away defence before playing the ball across goal for Ruben Vargas to tap home. The linesman's flag is immediately raised and VAR confirms that the German forward was offisde.

DORTMUND'S BALL SO FAR
The away side have completed over 100 more passes than their hosts in the opening 20 minutes, but have produced fewer chances on goal so far.
18'
RICHTER HAS A GO!
The young German forward shows his technique with a volley at the edge of the Dortmund box, but slices it wide of the mark. Augsburg have been unable to test the hands of Roman Bürki in the BVB goal so far, with all of their efforts on goal going off target.
15'
GUERREIRO FIRES OVER
Good interplay from Dortmund from one side of the pitch to the other across the edge of the Augsburg box. Brandt lets a pass run between his legs for Guerreiro, who goes for goal with a first-time strike, but can't find the target with his effort. Already the 4th shot from Dortmund today.
13'
AUGSBURG FORCING THEIR WAY
Dortmund haven't made things easy for the home side, but Augsburg are trying to force their way into this game. Richter and Vargas are the options out wide and are being found often enough, but BVB's wing-backs are sniffing out any attempts to find Niederlechner in the middle.
7'
REUS... MISSES!
Well, well, well. How it isn't 1-0 to Dortmund is a real mystery. The away side break and Hazard finds Sancho on the right wing in tons of space. He reaches the box before cutting the ball back into the middle for Reus who only has to slot it home, but the ball is slightly behind him and Reus slices his effort, and the ball bounces behind him and is cleared. A huge chance to go ahead goes begging.
4'
FIRST CHANCE FOR DORTMUND
The away side have been controlling the early possession and produce the game's opening chance on goal. Reus and Jedvaj challenge for a header and the ball bounces back towards the Augsburg goal, but Hazard is the fastest to chance onto it, knocking it beyond the outcoming Koubek. He goes for goal, but the Augsburg goalkeeper recovers to block his effort.

UNDERWAY!
Saturday Bundesliga football is back in 2020 as Dortmund kick things off here in Augsburg, dressed in their black away kit, with Augsburg in their usual home strip of all white.
Kick-off!
AUGSBURG LOOKING TO START AGAIN
The home side had taken 16 points from a possible 18 prior to they 3-1 loss to RB Leipzig on Matchday 17. Martin Schmidt will want his troops to come out of the blocks of 2020 in style today, and maintaining the fortress that is the WWK-Arena.
REYNA ON THE BENCH
The American could make his Bundesliga debut today after being included among the substitutes of a Bundesliga game for just the second time. If he does come on for his debut today, the 17-year-old (born on November 13, 2002) would become the fifth-youngest Bundesliga player of all-time behind Nuri Sahin, Yann Bisseck, Jürgen Friedl and Ibrahim Tanko.
STARTING THE YEAR IN STYLE?
It's the chance to start the year off right for both sides and set out the stall for the rest of the 2019/20 season. For Dortmund, that's rarely been a problem. BVB have not lost their first match of a calendar year in 16 years, when they went down 1-0 to local rivals Schalke. But Augsburg are on a five-year-best run of three home league wins on the bounce.
AUGSBURG NOT SHY
There's no fear in the eyes of the Augsburg team who are looking to make home advantage count once again against Dortmund. Last year they came out on top, taking all three points from their title-chasing visitors, and they'll be looking to do the same again today. Fredrik Jensen starts in attacking midfield with Alfred Finnbogason still on the sidelines. New signing Eduard Löwen is on the bench.
HAALAND ON THE BENCH
Dortmund's star January signing is, as expected, starting today's game from the bench. He came on to play the last 30 minutes of BVB's friendly defeat to Mainz last week and has participated in training all week, but coach Lucien Favre doesn't want to rush his new striker into things. Instead, Dortmund start with an attack of Jadon Sancho, Thorgan Hazard and captain Marco Reus.
