ADDED TIME

We're into three minutes of added time now in Leipzig...
86'

SABITZER HAS A GO

Leipzig's captain has enough space for a shot from 25 yards, but his effort is always rising and Hradecky makes sure that it goes well beyond his crossbar.
86'

86' TIME RUNNING OUT FOR A WINNER... Leipzig look happy with a point, as do Leverkusen. But can either side snatch a winner?
82'

LAST CHANGE FOR NAGELSMANN

The final throw of the dice from the Leipzig manager sees Hannes Wolf come on for just his third appearance of the season
75'

ALMOST FOR KAI

The youngster makes a superb run to reach a long ball over the top of the Leipzig defence, but his touch lets him down and the ball skids away to Gulacsi.
72'

ATTACKING CHANGES

Both sides bringing on fresh legs in attack with Poulsen on for Werner to change things up, while Diaby is on in place of Bailey in a straight swap.
69'

LEVERKUSEN BACK ON THE BALL

After Leipzig's bright opening in this second half, Leverkusen have re-taken control of possession and are trying to work spaces in behind the Leipzig stronghold. Easier said than done.
68'

SABITZER SITTING TODAY

It was a very attacking set-up today from Nagelsmann with both Adams and Laimer - his usual holding midfield options - both out of action. Sabitzer is doing the holding job today, while Forsberg goes forward to get involved in the attacks.
63'

SCHICK HEADS WIDE

He rises highest once again from a Nkunku corner, but he can't keep this one on target.
61'

DEFLECTED FROM DEMIRBAY

Leverkusen are on top for a few minutes and have an opening. Amiri cuts the ball back to the edge of the Leipzig box and Demirbay has time to pick a spot. His shot takes a deflection and Gulacsi is wrong-footed, but it spins wide of the mark.
56'

BAILEY HAS A GO

First shot of the half for Leverkusen comes from the scorer of their goal. He goes for goal from 25 yards but it's a simple one for Gulacsi to handle
52'

LEIPZIG ON TOP SO FAR

The home side have certainly started this second half on top. Two more attempts on goal already in the opening five minutes and they are not letting up.
47'

NKUNKU FORCES A BIG SAVE

Fantastic start from Leipzig as Werner flicks the ball to Schick on the edge and he dummies to run to Nkunku. The Frenchman curls a powerful shot at goal but Hradecky dives to his left and makes an outstanding save to deny him. The Leverkusen 'keeper was at full-stretch to deny him.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY

Let's see what the second half has in store for us after that entertaining first...

A FANTASTIC FIRST HALF

Enthralling stuff in Leipzig as Leverkusen come out and really take the game to their hosts. The home side enjoyed 58 per cent of possession in the first half and had 10 attempts on goal, compared to just two for Leipzig. Still, the most important numbers are that it's 1-1 with Leipzig clinical from that set-piece chance. Bosz and Leverkusen, though, will still be the happier of the two sides.

ALARIO IN ONE-ON-ONE...

The Argentinian striker is clean through one-on-one after beating Upamecano in the air on the halfway line. He gets caught up just before shooting but is able to take his shot, but it goes straight at Gulacsi and he makes a solid save. A huge chance to re-take the lead before the break.
39'

LEVERKUSEN LOVING IT

Demirbay plays a fantastic ball through into the box for Wendell and he clips a ball into the box. It runs to the back post and Amiri, who smashes a shot straight at Angelino's head. The away side are dominating this first half in Leipzig.

SCHICK HEADS US LEVEL!

It's his third goal in five games and Leipzig are immediately level here. Nkunku swings in a free-kick and it's headed home by the Roma loanee. VAR has a look at whether he handled the ball, but the goal is given.

LEVERKUSEN DESERVEDLY AHEAD

The away side have been fantastic so far and go in front after a lovely attacking move. Amiri skips past Nkunku and finds Havertz in the box on the right. The captain cuts the ball back into the middle and Bailey is all alone to slot it past Gulacsi with his 5th goal of the season.

LEIPZIG'S INPENATRABLE DEFENCE

Should Peter Gulacsi keep a clean sheet again today it will be his and Leipzig's fifth in a row in all competitions. He's not conceded a goal in four games.
23'

HAVERTZ GOES ALONE

The Leverkusen captain steals the ball from Halstenberg and races forward. He has Diaby and Alario in support but decides to go alone, pushing the ball past Upamecano before shooting on his right foot. Gulacsi is equal to it.
21'

PALACIOS GOES CLOSE

The midfielder hits a first-time strike at goal after a Leverkusen corner had run loose to the edge of the Leipzig box. His shot is always slicing wide, though. But it's been a positive start to the game from the away side.
15'

LEIPZIG GETTING GOING

The home side are getting things rolling now having not had much of the ball in the opening 15 minutes - only 35 per cent. Werner and Angelino working well together down the left flank.
9'

COMPETITIVE START

Both sides looking confident on the ball, as we expected. Leverkusen showing the most attacking threat in these early stages but they're still figuring each other out.
4'

DEMIRBAY HAS A GO!

Kerem Demirbay bends a wicked effort towards the top corner of the Leipzig goal, but Peter Gulacsi flies to his right to bat it clear. Open start, here.
