ALMOST FOR MAINZ
Awoniyi is inspiring the Mainz team to push on here. He races onto a through ball in the Leipzig box and cuts it back towards goal before reaching the byline. It goes behind off a Leipzig defender, and almost into his own net...

INTO THE FINAL 10
The perfect day at the office for Leipzig with this stunningly clinical performance. As we head into the final 10 minutes, Leipzig are still happy to hunt for more goals to add to their goal difference. Mainz, as well, are not going out without a fight.

WERNER HAT-TRICK!
Leipzig's top scorer has himself a second hat-trick against Mainz this season. A long ball from Poulsen and a free-kick sends Werner in behind the Mainz defence and he lobs the ball over Müller to make it five for Leipzig and three for him.

ANOTHER FOR WERNER
More fantastic football from Leipzig as they flow forward once again. Werner looks to dink the ball over Müller from close range, but his effort bounces just wide of the mark.

WERNER CURLS WIDE
Olmo plays a lovely ball across the edge of the Mainz box and Werner curls a shot at goal first-time. It goes marginally wide though, much to his disbelief. He thought he'd scored himself a hat-trick.

MAINZ SHOWING MORE
Great stuff from the home side in the last few minutes continuing to push for a goal despite the scoreline. Awoniyi has made a big difference to their attack since coming on, but Leipzig still in control of the game.
65'
BIG CHANCE FOR BARREIRO
The substitutes combine as Awoniyi powers his way to the byline on the right flank and curls a cross into the box. It goes through a few players and reaches Barreiro, who pops up and glances a header at goal. It drifts just over the Leipzig crossbar.
63'
KAMPL DENIED
The Leipzig midfielder thinks he has capped off his fantastic performance with a goal, but offside is given against his strike with Yussuf Poulsen running in the line of sight of Müller as Kampl took his shot. It would have been another lovely goal.

HALSTENBERG FORCES A SAVE
Leipzig so much fun to watch here. Outstandingly patient build-up play, keeping the ball around the Mainz box for over a minute at least before Halstenberg is found in space on the left and he thunders a shot at goal, but Müller makes a good save.
55'
NEXT BIG CHANCE
Werner is played in behind the Mainz defence and Müller comes racing out to meet it. Werner clips the ball past him towards goal and Nkunku is there to try and hit it into the empty goal, but it's a big challenge from Niakhate to make the block.
54'
FIRST SHOT ON TARGET
Mainz make Gulacsi save a shot after 55 minutes here, Quaison with it but all too easy for the Leipzig goalkeeper.
49'
RECORD FOR LEIPZIG
Julian Nagelsmann's side have now scored 67 goals this season which is their best-ever return in a Bundesliga season, beating the total from their debut campaign in 2016/17. And there are still seven games to play...

WERNER HAS A BRACE!
An outstanding team goal from Leipzig as Kampl races into the box, playing a one-two with Nkunku along the way before he cuts the ball back in front of goal for Werner to hit home. Impossible for Mainz to stop Leipzig here who are in full flow.

SECOND HALF BEGINS
We're back underway in Mainz and the home side have made a change at the break, bringing on Jean-Philippe Mateta into their attack. He's having a few smiles with the French contingent in the Leipzig side, a fellow French youth international himself.

QUAISON FRUSTRATION
The top-scoring Swede has had a quiet day so far, but only because his team have struggled to hold onto the ball. There's a half-chance on a counter, but the ball bounces away from the Mainz attacker and into the hands of Peter Gulacsi.
45'
HUGE CHANCE FOR NKUNKU
Outstanding work from Kampl who reads a pass out from the back by Mainz and intercepts before playing Nkunku in on goal. The Frenchman slides the ball across goal with his "weaker" left-foot, and in the end, drags it too far wide.

CHANGE COMING
Nordi Mukiele is getting ready on the sidelines with Laimer signalling that he can't play on.

LAIMER DOWN
The industrious Austrian midfielder has taken a knock but looks like he will be able to continue here. Plenty of options on the bench if he can't make it to half-time, at least.
36'
STUNNING FINISH
Marcel Sabitzer makes it three in the first half to Leipzig. He starts the move, playing the ball out to Poulsen who clips the ball into the box towards Nkunku who sees a shot cleared off the line by Müller. The ball lands with Poulsen, though, and he lays off to Sabitzer who opens up is right foot and slices the ball perfectly into the far top corner.

BIG CHANCE FOR A THIRD
Werner is sent away down the right behind the Mainz defence and crosses the ball low into the box towards Poulsen. He's under pressure from the Mainz defence but meets the ball on the slide in front of goal, only to see it fly over the crossbar. A smack of the floor in frustration from the Dane.
28'
CHANCE FOR NKUNKU
The Frenchman is perfectly placed to meet Olmo's pass inside from the left flank and has space in the box. He goes to play Werner the ball, but the Mainz defence snuff out the chance. Nkunku may have gone for goal himself if he had the chance again.
25'
STUNNING SAVE DENIES WERNER
An outstanding header from Werner curls towards the right bottom corner of Müller's goal, but the Mainz goalkeeper pulls off a fantastic save to tip the ball wide of his goal. Fantastic football all-round
23'
POULSEN ON HIS BIG DAY!
Celebrating his 250th appearance for the club, Poulsen gets on the scoresheet. All too simple for Leipzig as Sabitzer is played in down the right with space to pick his spot with a cross. He floats one to the back post and Poulsen's header is too strong for Müller to handle.

BOOKINGS GALORE
Some tactical fouls taking place in the first half here in Mainz. Kunde penalised for bringing down Kampl on a counter, while Upamecano stopped one going the other way by handling the ball on the ground.

WERNER RECORDS
Timo Werner has now scored 22 goals in the Bundesliga - a personal best record for him in a single season. It's also his 89th goal in 152 competitive appearances for Leipzig making him the club's outright top scorer all-time.
11'
WERNER BACK AMONG THE GOALS!
Timo Werner opens the scoring here in the 11th minute against Mainz. Laimer has it out on the right and works space to send a low cross into the box which Werner clips towards the back post beyond Müller's dive. His 22nd goal of the season.

WERNER DEEPER
Leipzig's top scorer this season has played in several different positions in 2019/20, from lone striker to left or right wing and even as a No.10 at times. Here, he's in an attacking midfield role, shadowing Yussuf Poulsen who is the target man. He's coming deep to get on the ball alongside the host of playmakers on show for Leipzig.

ONISIWO VS. UPAMECANO
That's going to be a fun battle and we see it on show for the first time here. The Mainz forward is battling his way towards goal with the Leipzig defender going along with him all the way. In the end, Upamecano wins this battle as the ball bounces out for a goal-kick off Onisiwo.

HERE WE GO!
The ball is rolling in the Mainz sunshine between Mainz and Leipzig for our second game of the day.
Kick-off!
LEIPZIG TO MAKE A STATEMENT?
Leipzig were the only side to slip-up in the title race last week as they drew at home to Freiburg 1-1. A win today will take Leipzig from 5th to 3rd, above Leverkusen and Gladbach in the table and seven points off Bayern Munich.
QUAISON: "WE WANT REVENGE"
Mainz top scorer Robin Quaison told bundesliga.com before this game that he and his teammates are seeking revenge against Leipzig for that 8-0 defeat suffered in the first half of the season. "Against Leipzig, we need to take revenge for what they did to us in the first game. When we speak about it, it hurts us still, because it was a very good game from them and a horrible game from us and we need to take revenge on them."
REMEMBERING THE REVERSE FIXTURE
The last meeting between these two sides was one of the most memorable games of the season so far. Leipzig broke their club record largest win with an 8-0 drubbing of Mainz. Timo Werner was the start of the show with a hat-trick of goals and assists.
BIG DAY FOR POULSEN
Since joining RB Leipzig with the club in the third division back in 2013, Poulsen has come all the way up to the Bundesliga with Leipzig and made 249 appearances in the process. Today he'll make his 250th for the club, and captains the side once again.
BRUMA INTO DEFENCE
Mainz tightening up their defence at home for the visit of Leipzig with Bruma joining St. Juste and Niakhtate in a three-man defence which will likely be a five-man backline when Leipzig have the ball.
OLMO AND SABITZER IN
Two midfielder moves for Leipzig with Dani Olmo and Marcel Sabitzer in to start for Julian Nagelsmann's side. Dayot Upamecano also returns from suspension in defence, while Yussuf Poulsen captains the side with Timo Werner alongside him in attack.
