SCHÖOF SHOT BLOCKED
Big chance for Schalke as Schöpf volleys at goal after a corner was cleared to the edge. A huge headed block is made by Ayhan to deny him.

NOT EASY TO BREAK DOWN
The home side are defending resolutely here, not making it easy at all for Schalke to get chances on goal. Set pieces may be the order of the day for them.

FRESH LEGS FOR THE FINAL STRETCH
There's 15 minutes to play for Schalke to get back into this game after going back with two goals in the space of five minutes. Kutucu and Gregoritsch are on to add to fresh legs in the Royal Blue attack.

KARAMAN PUTS FORTUNA HEAD!
A short corner is swung into the box from Thommy and it causes problems in the box. Kabak beats Ayhan to the ball, but his header goes towards his own goal and Karaman is perfectly placed to poke the ball over the line ahead of Schubert.
63'
HENNINGS HEADS FORTUNA LEVEL
It's Hennings again who scores against Schalke and it's his first goal in 2020. A fantastic free-kick is pile-drived towards goal from Stöger and Schubert can only parry the ball into the air. It's Nastasic vs. Hennings as to who wins the header, and Hennings does the job to put the ball over the line and bring the game level. It's his fourth goal against Schalke this season.

FORTUNA PUSHING ON
The home side remain on top in terms of possession in this second half. Chances have been few and far between, but the pressure is building.
55'
PASSION FROM MCKENNIE
His celebration says it all. The USMNT star lets out a lot of frustration with his roar having put Schalke ahead. As things stand, Schalke sit just two points behind Wolfsburg in sixth place.
53'
MCKENNIE HEADS SCHALKE AHEAD!
Sometimes it can be that simple. A free-kick swings in from Oczipka's left foot and McKennie is unmarked and produces a deadly diving header, powering the ball past Kastenemeier to put Schalke into the lead.
47'
KENNY FIRES WIDE
The full-back has a rare go at goal at the start of this second half, but he can't find the target with his effort.
46'
SECOND HALF UNDERWAY
We're back underway in Düsseldorf without a change to either side at the break.

KABAK BOOKED
The centre-back is booked for kicking the ball away after a foul. Disappointing for him, and risky with the second half to come.
43'
APPROACHING THE BREAK
No chances on goal in the last 10 minutes or so, with Fortuna holding onto the majority of the ball. The home side are working hard as well, almost two kilometres more covered than their visitors.
33'
THOMMY FORCES A SAVE
The right-footed winger cuts in from the left flank and curls a powerful shot at goal, but Schubert does well to push it away from goal.
30'
MATONDO HAS WHEELS
The Welsh winger has been clocked at 36km/h already in this game. Only Borussia Dortmund's Achraf Hakimi has ever gone faster than 36km/h before since Bundesliga records began.
26'
BOTH SIDES DEFENDING WELL
It's been a difficult start for the attacking players on either side. Caligiuri's chance the only clear-cut one so far, with the likes of Ozan Kabak and Kaan Ayhan dominating the game so far.
21'
CHANCE FOR CALIGIURI
The first big chance of the day goes the way of Schalke. A long ball is controlled by Caligiuri firstly with his head without knowing where the ball was, before he took the ball through Hofmann with a cheeky touch to send him in on goal. He got shot away under pressure, but Kastenmeier stood tall in the Fortuna goal to parry.
15'
JUST 19 PASSES SO FAR
Schalke have struggled to get on the ball here in the early stages and keep the ball for any length of time. Just 57 per cent of their passes completed, 19 in total.
12'
KARAMAN HAS A GO
First shot of the evening comes from the home side. Ayhan superbly intercepts the ball as Schalke look to counter and he flicks inside for Karaman to run onto the ball on the edge of the box. He strikes the ball first-time on his left, but Schubert makes a comfortable save.

HOME SIDE ON TOP
Fortuna have enjoyed the majority of the ball here in the opening minutes. No chances to speak of so far, but Fortuna looking confident at the very least.

SCHALKE HAPPY IN DÜSSELDORF
Schalke are three games unbeaten in Düsseldorf (W2, D1), and have failed to score on a trip to the Merkur Spiel-Arena only once in 20 meetings. But the Royal Blues have sour memories of the reverse fixture where Rouwen Hennings scored a hat-trick for Fortuna in a 3-3 draw.
