ADDED TIME

We're into three minutes of added time here in Bremen.
89'

SELKE HEADS AT GOAL

A great leap from the substitute to meet Bittencourt's cross, but Sommer is on hand to stop that one.
87'

LAINER FIRES AT GOAL

The full-back cuts inside onto his left foot and strikes at goal. It takes a touch from Plea's hand on its way through and is blown for a foul, but Pavlenka still makes a fantastic save.
84'

FRESH LEGS

Herrmann and Benes are on for the Foals. Can they inspire a late push for a winning goal?
81'

PUSHING ON

The home side coming so close to the Gladbach goal. Scrambles in the box and clearances by the Foals defence are not allowing clear-cut chances on goal but the pressure is building. You get the feeling that a goal is coming in these final minutes...
81'

BY NO MEANS A DULL 0-0

It's a fantastic end to this game in Bremen with the home side pushing on for a winner. Gladbach are looking for the counter-attack as well and it's making for entertaining viewing.
79'

NEUHAUS SO CLOSE

Plea finds Hofmann on the edge of the Bremen box and he cuts the ball back towards Neuhaus. He dribbles past one Bremen midfielder before curling a shot towards the far bottom corner. It leaves Pavlenka stuck, but he watches the ball fly just past the outside of the post.
78'

GREAT STRIKE FROM BITTENCOURT

The substitute is found by Eggestein and quickly turns and shoots at goal from 25 yards. A great hit, but it is always drifting and creeps just over the Gladbach crossbar with Sommer worried.
77'

FINAL 15...

This game could go either way here with both sides pushing forward for what could be a winning goal here late on.
73'

BIG CHANCE FOR SARGENT

Sommer takes too much time on the ball and is closed down by Bittencourt and Friedl. The ball runs loose to Sargent but Lainer and Neuhaus make a big block together to clear the ball.
68'

HALF-CHANCE

Fantastic midfield play from Neuhaus who dribbles his way through two Bremen players with one turn before finding Thuram ahead of him in space. He then looks for Stindl in on goal, but the pass has too much power behind it...
67'

GLADBACH PUSHING ON NOW

The away side have been on top in the last five minutes here and are building pressure on the Bremen defence. No real chances on goal to speak of in this second half so far, though...
61'

TIGHT GAME

Six attempts apiece, Gladbach having the slight advantage in possession with 53 per cent. Not much is separating these two sides here and the game could come down to one or two chances on goal. Who can take them is the question?
57'

RASHICA HAS A GO

The Bremen winger is getting involved here in the second half. He cuts past Jantschke onto his right foot and curls a shot at the near post, but Sommer's positioning is perfect and he saves well down low.
55'

BIG BATTLE HERE

Both sides flying into a few challenges with mistakes being made at both ends. Neither side happy with their performance, but both Bremen and Gladbach have shown confidence on the ball. The home side and coach Florian Kohfeldt will be particularly pleased with how they have come out against one of the title-chasing sides.
51'

SOMMER DENIES BREMEN!

Outstanding double-save from Sommer. The first, a free-kick from Rashica which he gets down to his right to save. The rebound comes at him from the left and he makes another fantastic save with his left foot to send it over the crossbar.
47'

JANTSCHKE SUSPENDED

The Gladbach defender is booked for an off-the-ball foul and is now suspended for Gladbach's game against Union Berlin at the weekend.
46'

SECOND HALF BEGINS

We're back underway in Bremen without a change to either side
Kick-off!

41'

VELJKOVIC SUSPENDED

The Bremen defender has been booked for the fifth time this season after a foul on Thuram. He'll miss Bremen's trip to Schalke at the weekend.
39'

GROß BATTLING WELL

The Bremen defensive midfielder - into the side today - has dominated his holding midfield position. He's won 83 per cent of his challenges thus far, more than any other player in the home side.
38'

WHAT A HIT FROM NEUHAUS

A lovely run from the Gladbach midfielder and he has space to shoot from 20 yards out. It's curling towards the far top corner, but Pavlenka makes an incredible diving save to deny him. The Bremen shot-stopped has been fantastic so far.
35'

PLEA BACK TO HELP

Fantastic work from Plea who races back to stop a Bremen counter-attack. He gets a round of applause from his teammates for that effort.
34'

GEBRE SELASSIE BOOKED

Bremen's right-back is cautioned for a late foul on Marcus Thuram as he broke away down the left.
28'

NEUHAUS FIRES WIDE

Gladbach work the ball down the right to Thuram on the edge of the Bremen box. He passes inside to Stindl, who turns and lays the ball of for Neuhaus to run at and hit, but he slices his strike high and wide from his left foot.
23'

GOOD BATTLE SO FAR

Neither side has been able to take control of the game here in Bremen in the early stages. The home side having the slight majority of possession, while Gladbach have had more attempts on goal.
16'

THREE-MAN DEFENCE

The Foals' three-man defence is pushing Oscar Wendt and Stefan Lainer further up the pitch as wing-backs. It's a formation rarely used so far by Marco Rose in the Bundesliga.
13'

HUGE CHANCE FOR KLAASSEN

Fantastic from Bremen as Gebre Selassie's low ball goes to the edge of the Gladbach box. Sargent dummies and it rolls for Klaassen who strikes goalwards. It takes a touch off a defender and Sommer has to adjust, and he makes an outstanding save.
9'

CONFIDENT START

The home side not fazed by their opponents and searching for the counter-attacks against the away side. Gladbach having good territory so far, despite not necessarily dominating the ball in the opening minutes.
5'

FIRST CHANCE OF THE GAME

Florian Neuhaus has the game's first shot on goal. Wendt's run down the left opened Bremen open before he clipped the ball into the box. Stindl let it run and Neuhaus took the shot, but it was straight at Pavlenka.
1'

UNDERWAY IN BREMEN!

The ball is rolling here in Bremen. It's a warm evening in the north of Germany under the floodlights here.
Kick-off!

READY TO ROLL

The players are out on the pitch here in Bremen. The home side looking to build from their big win away at Freiburg last weekend in their fight against relegation, while Gladbach are looking to maintain their charge towards the European places. A win today would take them above RB Leipzig before they play tomorrow.

GLADBACH THE FAVOURITES?
