THE PARTY CONTINUES

No Union Berlin fans have left the stadium as the players salute their incredible support. The club's first-ever Bundesliga win will be celebrated long into the night here, and it's only just beginning. They came into this game as major underdogs but followed a well-drilled gameplan and delivered it superbly. Dortmund were frustrated throughout and created very few chances. While Union took theirs.

It's been all Dortmund in injury time so far, but they are finding no way through the Union defence.

ADDED TIME

We're into seven minutes of added time here in Berlin. Union look very comfortable in defence right now, while Dortmund are lacking intensity in their play going forward.

THE SHOTS TELL THE STORY

Just two shots on target for Dortmund in this game, despite their far superior possession. While Union berlin have had five shots on goal...
85'

SANCHO SO CLOSE

He teases the defender and cuts onto his right before curling one at goal. The ball curls just wide of the Union goal, though, and Bruun Larsen is on as the final substitute with Dortmund desperate for a goal.
79'

THIS STADIUM IS BOUNCING

Incredible noise coming from the home fans packed into the Stadion An der Alten Försterei right now. They are being treated to superb football from their side, who are outplaying Dortmund here in this second half. Three goals from their 25 per cent of possession and they are on their way to history.
75'

INCREDIBLE! WHAT A GOAL!

The home side produce a perfectly slick goal to go two goals ahead and just 15 minutes away from the club's first ever Bundesliga win. Becker and Andrich play a one-two and Becker plays a low cross in front of goal towards Andersson from the left wing. The forward opens his body to put the ball past Bürki with a neat finish.

DRINKS BREAK

We had one in the first half and now again in the second period. A chance for both sides to regroup and consider their options with just under 20 minutes of the game left to play...
68'

DORTMUND NOT FINDING A WAY THROUGH

Lucien Favre's side are struggling to breakdown Union's stable defence here. They have the talent on the pitch, but Reus, Sancho and Brandt have all been kept quiet so far in this second half.
64'

SO CLOSE AGAIN FOR BVB...

Sancho had been out of the game in this second half but just showed his class again with a teasing cross. Reus and Alcacer were eager to get on the end of it, but were just too slow to meet the Englishman's ball in.
63'

SUBOTIC ON HIS LEFT

The centre-back is up for a corner, which is cleared out to the edge of the box. He chases it and goes for goal with an unorthodox left-footed volley, but the ball goes wide of Bürki and the goal.
60'

PACO DOESN'T SHOOT...

Lovely interplay between Reus and Alcacer sets the Spaniard away on goal. He has Union defenders closing on him and decides to go onto his left foot before shooting, but he's been caught up and the ball is cleared. He had the chance to shoot on his right, or pass to Brandt on the left wing, but chose against it.
58'

BRANDT GOES FOR THE LOB

Gikiewicz comes out of his goal to clear a long ball forward, but his clearance goes straight to Brandt. He goes for goal with a first-time lob, but it goes high over the crossbar.
53'

SUBOTIC FIGHTING FOR IT

A corner swings in and drops around the Union defender. He battles with Dahoud to get a shot away at goal but can't and the ball is cleared in the end. Dortmund are under the cosh here and struggling to get into the game with Union pumped up.
52'

DAHOUD GOES CLOSE

The substitute picks up the ball with space in front of him on the edge of the box and smashes a shot towards goal. It hits the side-netting as it whistles past the Union goal.
50'

UNION BACK IN FRONT!

Andersson breaks through the middle and is one-on-one with Bürki. The Swiss keeper makes a good save with his feet but the ball comes out to Bülter on the edge of the box. He produces a superb, composed finish to tuck the ball past Bürki and into the bottom corner. Could this be one of the most historic nights in Union's history?

ALL SQUARE AT THE BREAK

Dortmund have dominated the ball with 71 per cent of possession, but they haven't made the most of it. Seven attempts on goal apiece in this game and Union showed their work in training this week with their strike from a corner. Just minutes later, though, and Dortmund were level through Alcacer after Sancho's cross. Both goalkeepers have made good saves, as well.

GIKIEWICZ SAVES FROM REUS

A mistake from the Union defence gives Alcacer the ball in their own half. He runs forward but lays the ball off for Reus who goes for goal on his left. It's heading for the bottom corner, but the Union shot-stopper does enough to keep the ball out of his goal as it rolls wide.

BRILLIANT BRANDT

The German midfielder picks up the ball deep in midfield and turns superbly past Schmiedebach and into the attack. He has time and space in front of him while he drifts past another defender. He then looks for Alcacer with a lovely left-footed pass but it's just inches away from the Spaniard...
44'

WEIGL CURLS ONE WIDE

Sancho goes on a sneaky run inside from the right wing, beating two defenders on the way. He lays the ball off to Weigl who curls the ball at goal, but it just doesn't curl far enough.
40'

UNION FRUSTRATED

The home side are pressing well against Dortmund and winning back possession on enough occasions to cause their opponents problems. However, their possession isn't being used well enough right now. Mistakes in the final third are costing them, with Dortmund pushing on again and again.
38'

DELANEY BACK ON

The midfielder is back on and able to continue here in Berlin.
35'

DELANEY DOWN AFTER NASTY HIT

The Dortmund midfielder went up for a header with Andersson but came down badly, landing on his head and there's blood pouring from the Dane's face. He'll come off for further treatment and will hopefully be able to resume.
33'

DORTMUND TAKING CONTROL AGAIN

Doing well to keep the ball under some Union pressing, BVB are pushing into the home side's half looking for openings. None have been found since Alcacer's equaliser.
25'

DORTMUND LEVEL STRAIGHT AWAY

A typical Dortmund goal as Sancho is found on the right wing by Reus with far too much space. His low cross to the back post is perfectly timed and placed to meet the run of Alcacer, who slides in the equaliser and his fourth goal of the season.

DORTMUND'S WOES OF STARTING SLOW

In each of Dortmund's Bundesliga games this season they have gone behind. The previous two resulted in comeback wins against Augsburg and Cologne with five and three goals scored respectively, will the same happen again today?
22'

UNION TAKE THE LEAD!

Straight from the training ground a corner comes into the box low across the ground. Bülter steps away from his marker and meets the ball, smashing it low into the bottom corner past Bürki to the delight of the home fans. That was an explosion of noise and Dortmund now have work to do.

UJAH WITH UNION'S FIRST REAL CHANCE

Breaking away down the left flank Ujah reached the edge of the BVB box with Delaney and Hummels for company, and in the end the pair did enough only to concede a corner.
20'

REUS GOES SO CLOSE

Akanji shows that he can produce the same kind of long ball forward as Hummels, his outstanding pass meets Reus' run into the box perfectly. But he times his shot poorly as the ball is bouncing back up, and he loops it high over the bar.
18'

SUPERB FROM SANCHO

Jadon Sancho plays a lovely one-two with Reus and is able to shoot on goal with his left foot from the edge of the box, but it drifts wide of the mark this time. The BVB attack certainly kicking into gear now.
14'

REUS HITS THE SIDE-NETTING

The BVB goes for goal with a free-kick from a tight angle on the left side of the pitch. It's curling away from Gikiewicz, but too much and hits the side-netting.
12'

SANCHO AND BRANDT SWITCHING

Having started with Sancho on the left and Brandt on the right, the two youngsters have now switched flanks early in the game with the Englishman now on his favoured right wing.
10'

SUBOTIC HEADS WIDE

6'

UNION PUSHING FORWARD

A cross to the back post from Trimmel meets Bülter's head, but the ball is cleared only as far as Becker on the edge of the box. He goes for goal but miscues his volley high and wide.
5'

FIRST CHANCE FOR BRANDT

Amazing pass from Hummels out to the right is perfectly placed over Lenz's head and onto the foot of Brandt. He races into the box with his first touch and plays a low cross into the box with Alcacer and Sancho in toe, but neither able to get on the end of it. Dortmund in control of this game so far, dominating possession.

UNDERWAY IN THE CAPITAL

The sun is shining in the capital for our Saturday evening game with Dortmund in town.
Kick-off!

TIFO FOR THE COACH

The home fans reveal a huge celebration to coach Urs Fischer, who brought the club to the Bundesliga for this their inaugural season in the league. A fantastic sight and now we're ready to get the game underway.

BIG HUGS FOR SUBOTIC

The Union defender is greeted by the Dortmund players in the tunnel and big hugs and smiles are exchanged. The stadium is bouncing right now with the club's anthem ringing around and the atmosphere is remarkable.

SPECIAL TIFO COMING TODAY

The home support are preparing something special for before the game. Fans spotted on the roof of their home end behind one of the goals, and a big tifo is expected. The club have also handed out free red t-shirts with a beating heart being held by hands. It was inspired by a choreo from the relegation play-off win over VfB Stuttgart.

STADIUM PACKED ALREADY

Incredible support here at Union Berlin from both sets of fans, as you'd expect. The stadium is totally packed with 40 minutes still to go until kick-off. There are no spaces in the home end with fans already waiting an hour before the game gets underway. It's going to be a loud and passionate evening at the Alten Försterei.

SUBOTIC BACK VS. BVB

The Dortmund legend is back against his former black-and-yellow side once again. He previously played against them for Cologne and now it's the same story, but can he keep out the attack of Sancho, Reus, Brandt and Alcacer?

BRANDT STARTS FOR BVB

With Hazard and Witsel out injured, Julian Brandt comes in to start his first game for Dortmund since his move from Leverkusen this summer. He has scored off the bench against Augsburg and played superbly against Cologne in the late win. He'll likely start from the left flank, opposite to Jadon Sancho.
