The combination for Freiburg's second goal almost came together for the third goal. Another mistake in the Hoffenheim defence gave the ball away in a dangerous spot and Frantz dinked the ball to the back post with Haberer waiting. He goes for the spectacular with a volley, but miscues it totally.

Fantastic in-swinging cross from Stafylidis who curls the ball into the middle of the box with Locadia and Bebou in the area. It bounces to the back post and Bebou, but the forward's header is wide of the mark. The Greek left-back's cross deserved more there, an outstanding effort.

FREIBURG TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HOFFENHEIM
The visitors have been clinical in taking advantage of some mistakes at the back from Hoffenheim. While they haven't been glaring errors, Freiburg have made them look more serious with the goals they have scored. Günter and Haberer both providing superb, composed finishes for their goals. A lovely finish from Haberer after some disappointing defending. The ball goes towards the edge of the box and it's not dealt with, as Frantz challenges Bicakcic and wins the ball before laying it off to Haberer in the middle of the pitch at the edge of the box. The visitors today can extend their strong start to the season and leapfrog Bayern Munich into third with a win. Christian Streich's side have won two of their three league games so far this season, and will be looking to bounce back from the defeat suffered before the international break at home to Cologne.
