Kick-off!

KICK-OFF FAST APPROACHING!

Yesterday was a fantastic return to Bundesliga football at the start of 2021, and the fun continues this Sunday afternoon. We're 10 minutes from kick-off at the Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund vs. Wolfsburg. It's going to be a must-watch!

ONE YEAR OF REYNA

As well as Haaland, Dortmund are now celebrating one year of Gio Reyna performing for the first-team. The teenager has gone from strength to strength since making his first appearance for BVB on 18 January 2020. Intelligent on the ball and quick over the ground, the 18-year-old's first 12 months as a senior player suggest this is very much just the beginning. He'll be out to kickstart the New Year in style today.

THE RETURN OF ERLING

Erling Haaland has scored an astonishing 33 goals in 32 competitive games since joining Dortmund this time a year ago. Having missed the last four Bundesliga outings of 2020 through injury, the 20-year-old has been working to return for this very game. He's back, and with him Dortmund's attack will change dramatically.

TALE OF THE TAPE

BVB are unbeaten in their last 10 Bundesliga matches against Wolfsburg, winning nine. Wolfsburg have only lost one of their first 13 matches in a Bundesliga season for the first time in their history.

WORRY FOR WOUT?

Weghorst is on course for a third straight season of double figures for goals and has scored against all but one of the Bundesliga teams he has faced in his career so far. He's without a goal in four career meetings with Dortmund.

WOLFSBURG TEAM NEWS

Brooks, Arnold, Lacroix, Schlager and Mbabu are available again to head coach Oliver Glasner, with Lacroix and Mbabu on the bench to start, but Philipp, Roussillon, Mehmedi and second-choice goalkeeper Pervan are definitely out. Ex-BVB forward Philipp's absence could see Schlager pushed forward into a No.10 role. Top scorer Weghorst struck a brace against Sandhausen, but he is without a goal in successive Bundesliga matches for the first time since Matchday 3.

BVB TEAM NEWS

Haaland's return is timely, especially with Moukoko ruled out through injury. Winger Hazard is another confirmed absentee, but right-back Meunier, midfield pair Can and Witsel, and captain Reus are all fit again with only Can missing out on a start following Dortmund's 2-0 DFB Cup second-round win over Braunschweig.
