HUGE WIN FOR GLADBACH!

The home side looked to be down and out after half an hour and Bayern 2-0 up. But they fought back through Hofmann's brace before Neuhaus' stunner early in the second period put them ahead. The Bundesliga leaders piled on the pressure afterwards, but could find no way through a resilient Gladbach backline.

BAYERN TURNING THE SCREW

Bayern are really squeezing Gladbach back into their own half now, playing one-touch passes and trying to get down the wings. Coman wriggles past Lainer on the Bayern left, but skews his attempted cross out of play. They're swinging momentum back their way, though.

GLADBACH BEWARE

Neuhaus' goal was his third of the season and while Gladbach are now ahead, they should be on high alert: this is the ninth successive league game Bayern have fallen behind in - a club record. They haven't lost any of them though, coming back to win five and draw three.
58'

OVER FROM STINDL!

Lainer with a lovely ball into Stindl's path as he arrives on the edge of the box. He takes it first time, aware that Kimmich is breathing down his neck, but his effort whizzes over the bar.

HOFMANN INVOLVED AGAIN

Stindl plays a diagonal ball over to the left to Hofmann. He drives inside Sane and back-heels it into the space behind him, where Bensebaini is arriving. He tries to get past Müller, but the Bayern attacker does very well to force him off the ball.

HOSTS ON THE UP

Gladbach are trying to capitalise on their momentum now and are looking for a fourth. Hofmann is focusing his efforts down the left, where he's had plenty of joy against Pavard and Süle so far today.

Stunning stuff from Gladbach, who complete the turnaround. Süle gave the ball away to Hofmann on the Bayern right. Hofmann drives forward, cuts inside and lays it off to Neuhaus on the edge of the area. He takes a touch and curls a stunning shot into the top corner past Neuer!

THE START OF THE FLICK ERA

Since that Gladbach win, Bayern have lost just once more in all competitions under Flick who was taking charge of just his sixth game when BMG got the better of his side. It sparked a remarkable turnaround in the record champions' fortunes and they've never looked back, going on to complete a record-breaking treble last term, pick up both domestic and European Super Cups at the start of this campaign and establish a two point lead at the top after 14 games.

LAST TIME THEY MET

The last time these two met in Gladbach, it was the home side that ran out 2-1 winners with Ramy Bensebaini hitting a brace after Ivan Perisic's opener. Bensebaini's goals included a dramatic 92nd-minute winner from the penalty spot in a memorable win that, at the time, kept Gladbach top and a whole seven points clear of Bayern in seventh-place.

TEAM NEWS - GLADBACH

Breel Embolo leads the line for the hosts again here. Marcus Thuram remains suspended and Alassane Plea isn't in the squad at all. At left-back Ramy Bensebaini starts for the first time since Matchday 7, with Oscar Wendt dropping to the bench.

TEAM NEWS - BAYERN

It's largely as expected from Bayern coach Hansi Flick, who has kept faith with out-of-form right-back Benjamin Pavard, with the 2018 World Cup winner starting once more. Serge Gnabry picked up an injury against Mainz last week so is out of action here, while Kingsley Coman is on the bench as he continues his recovery from a minor injury too. Leroy Sane and Douglas Costa start on the wings, with Joshua Kimmich in central midfield.
